Sara P. "I'm going to start off by saying I had never eaten in, only ordered delivery and those times were amazing. Yes the temp cools but the meats were juicy and flavorful still. Then I got to go with my friend and we got the 5 meat sampler each. Still ended up with too much food and AMAZING leftovers. The coleslaw needs just a little something, maybe onions and celery seed but good. Okra was great. Beef rib, pork rib (overdone but they quickly replaced it with a perfect 1/4 rack) turkey and sausage. Now that I look back I didn't get the pulled pork it was supposed to have but that's ok I think they subbed it out for brisket. I should have asked for the fattier cut because that's my preference over the lean. Great servers very helpful and a tasty marg! Love the decor here and on better weather days the view will be phenomenal"

Howie K. "Whatever you're doing right now (surfing the internet for cat videos, ignoring your boss, posting status updates), stop. Seriously, drop it, and jot down this note: Elixir Chocolates. You'll thank me after you read this review. Want an exceptionally savvy, cheap date, or crazy fun group outing? Call Tim and Larry at Elixir. Unbeknownst to me, these two great guys had been quietly crafting unf@ckingbelievable cocoa-riffic treats in this city for the better part of 20 years. Yes, 20. And they host these incredible hands-on events at their chocolate factory, near I-25 and Osuna. The events are free, but you'll need to gather a group of 6-10 people. You'll sample virtually any sweet treat you wish, you'll dip your own caramels in chocolate, you'll sample their infamous Timmy Krack Korn (no, this has nothing to do with the band) before, during and after it's baked. The entire evening lasts about 90 minutes. Trust me on this: your teeth will never rot so good. They don't have a storefront, per se, but they sell wholesale at the factory. They also sell their truffles, turtles, and other goodies at Keller's Meats and the Cinnamon Sugar & Spice Cafe. But go to the factory, bring some friends. You won't forget it. Twenty years into this thing, Elixir Chocolates remains a relatively undiscovered, and delightful sweet find in the 505.(But don't take my word for it. Ask the guys who moved in next door, at the medical marijuana dispensary. Just sayin'.)"

Morgan L. "Ten stars!!! I give this wonderful, locally owned, catering company TEN STARS! Talk about going above and beyond! If I tried to list all the ways these folks saved the day at the recent wedding I hosted at my house, I would be writing a novel. (No seriously, I would. They made that event a success! They handled so many last minute emergencies with a smile. For example; no one thought to figure out the garbage situation. "No problem," they said, "we can help." And they did, immediately. Or when rain was threatening and everyone else was too busy to think of it, Tammy and her crew of three, Michelle, Roland and a gentleman whose name I did not get (my bad!), rescued the gifts and cards on the outdoor table, and brought them safely inside. It was just a long series of thoughtful extras, helpful offers, and great service from the moment they walked onto the property.) Always smiling, always professional, dressed impeccably, ( even in the 90 degree + heat of the outdoor June wedding) Special Touch arrived, set up, and served our 60 guests an absolutely DELICIOUS meal (The bride chose Bar B Que for dinner. The pulled pork and Tammy's potato salad were to die for!). Special Touch also handled the cake set up, which was simply gorgeous. Then they cleaned up and packed out, leaving the space they'd used absolutely spotless. They did that all so unobtrusively, I didn't even know they'd finished, until they came to say goodbye.I was not the bride, and I didn't hire this company, but if I ever need a caterer in the future, I will make SURE its Special Touch! They really are FANTASTIC!"

Sherri S. "We just stumbled upon the best new restaurant in Rio Rancho! We were walking out of another shop and the lady offered us a sample of their Jambalaya, which was so delicious that we decided to have lunch here. I have to say they have the BEST Po Boy I have had this far away from the coast, and the shrimp was juicy, large, and cooked to perfection with a zesty sauce. My daughter had the Carne Adovada fries and she devoured it and said it was super tasty! They said they just opened a few weeks ago, and for now they are only open Thur-Sat 11am-3pm, but that could change to more days and hours."

Lisa J. "Such a great experience with Desirae and Miguel today. I love that Desirae talks to every person and if you have any questions, she's got the answers and suggestions. We had the cucumber limeade, strawberry cheesecake paleta, lime paleta with tajin and took home a 6pk of different flavored paletas. Miguel was super friendly and let us sample any paleta we wanted and ended up with some I would have never thought I would get had I not tried them. Would I recommend them, 100 percent. I can't wait till it gets warmer to hang out on the patio"
