"For me, service providers, particularly those that come to your home to fix something, install something or clean up your messes, heavily slant positive or negative, there isn't much in-between. If a company meets the quoted arrival and performs the job without obvious incident, they're five star, I'd call 'em again. In the case of Bear Carpet, they were maybe 45 minutes late, but they called to let me know they were a tad behind schedule, and in the end, the carpets of our three teeny bedrooms came out plush and bright. I'll note that we paid full price, which came out to about $125, far more than a Groupon deal -- which is what we've used in the past. We called 'em on a Sunday night, about 6pm, and the owner said he could schedule us for the next day. That's pretty sweet, certainly not what you'd get from the competitor who offers a dirt cheap internet deal and schedules you out a month later. I thought the technician was thoroughly trained and careful to point out the tough spots he was working on, and he cautioned us to keep our cats off the carpets for a few hours, because yes, some of the chemicals involved can be harmful on paws. I'd lean four stars on this if only because I didn't get any bells with my whistles, but that's a little extortion-y , so no, great job, guys. I'll consider hiring you for some tile cleaning in the future, too."

"I was referred by a family member(who gets $25 off their next cleaning for the referral). Called on a Monday and made an appointment for Friday. Someone called to confirm my appointment the day before as well as confirm my quote. My ENTIRE house, upstairs, downstairs, and the stairs only cost $200. That's a deal in my book. Very professional. Only took about 2 hours. Deep cleaned the carpet and steamed out a few spots. He even cleaned a spot I could never get out of the area rug at my front door... that's taking care of a customer! The process was easy. The cost was low. I called when the job was complete and paid over the phone and received my receipt within an hour. In order to maintain the 10 year warranty on my carpet, I need to have my carpet cleaned once a year (guess who I'll be calling in a year?). Thank you for such a seamless experience."

"Two carpet cleaners came out the next day after I called. I only needed one room cleaned but they charge the same minimum ($99 plus tax) for three rooms. The other two bedrooms were fine, but the master bedroom which had stains since we bought the house did not come out clean. Also, the carpet took FOREVER to dry. I called about the remaining stains and odors and they came out and cleaned it again. It was somewhat better but not great. Sadly, I would not use them again. I think any carpet cleaning company should assess the carpets prior to cleaning and get it right the first time. I would also like to find a carpet cleaner that can truly extract most of the (dirty) water out of the carpet."

"Company owner and repair specialist Isaiah Leyva's slogan is, "Don't replace it, repair it!" After having him do two small repairs on my carpet, I'll buy what he is selling! Carpets can be successfully repaired and not look like a bad toupee over a bald-spot. I have berber carpet, and my dogs each pulled a small string of out of the carpet in two different spots (Thanks, pups...). When berber is pulled, it can run a lot, so I wanted to get the two small spots repaired. One spot was just a thin line pulled out, and the other was a few lines pulled out by the dogs.Isaiah took a patch of carpet from underneath my stairwell, and he did an amazing job patching both spots. I've asked multiple friends if they can tell where he did the repairs, and people cannot spot it. He is a great professional, and he really cares about an exception final product. I recommend this company to others for repairing rather than replacing carpet."

"I have a large hand made rug 9X11 that needed cleaning. Because it's wool and handmade it needed to be cleaned by a professional, specialty rug service. Mike came out to our home and looked at the rug. He was very knowledgeable and gave us a quote. He told us the rug would be done in two weeks. After two weeks I hadn't heard anything back so I gave them a call. Mike explained that they were short on staff, so it was taking a little bit longer than expected. When they delivered the rug I was a happy customer!!! It was so clean and pretty and there was new padding for the entire rug. I would definitely use their rug cleaning services again. They were pleasant and convenient with their pick up and delivery."

The carpet was installed the next week by a couple of very fast working guys who cleaned up after themselves and hauled my old natty carpet away. All in all it was a very pleasant experience."

This sounded like a great deal, so we booked a cleaning. When they got here, they said they noticed a pet urine smell and that the living room was heavily soiled. They recommended a deeper cleaning with stronger chemicals. Total cost $407. I felt this was a little high, but I do know my kids have allowed the dogs to roam free a few times and even shanpooing the carpet myself never got rid of the smell completely. They did offer to clean the carpets for $350 flat and we agreed that it was a fair price. I believe the owner, Johnathan, was honest and genuine. The work was solid and the price was fair."

"The Carpet Masters of our fair city are darned good.They had a super tough job to do cleaning the 1915 small hexagon-tiled floors in the hallways of the building where I live. The Masters needed several days to clean the floors here even though usually a job of this size would take them one day per floor. We have two. This job was difficult because the tiles haven't been cleaned in quite a while but also because a fair amount of tiles are loose. The poor things: They are 107 years old.With one tile floor cleaning job, these guys usually make four passes. They did far more here.I'm really impressed also that they don't use toxic chemicals. They try to adhere to the California Ambient Air Quality Standards including chemicals toxic to skin.Our floors here are so much cleaner now. Oh! And this business is woman-owned! Thanks, you guys!"
