"Would you drive 30 miles round trip just for stuffed sopaipilla?Place is listed as in Santa Fe , but is actually 15 miles out of in Pojoaque , in the boon docks, halfway to Los Alamos. In a shopping center, with plenty of parking, lots of windows, clean and open ambiance restaurant. Meeting a friend of my wife when she worked in Los Alamos 18 years. We each ordered the $13.75 stuffed sopaipilla, while friend ordered beef enchilada. Service is on the leisurely side.The stuffed sopaipilla was filled with chicken, rice and vegetables. Looked like a square enchilada 5" square. Combination went well together, especially when adding green chile to give it more spice. Ate it with a knife and fork as the sopaipilla was covered with a layer of melted cheese, and chile sauce.Dish came with a very small salad and cornbread. Friend's $13.75 enchilada dish came with two beef enchiladas, Mexican rice small salad of tomatoes, and pinto beans. Wife and I ate everything on our plates, but friend, lifetime New Mexico resident, still hasn't gotten used to pinto beans, leaving most of it. Dessert was fluffy sopaipilla with butter and honey. Loved the dough but not what it did for my waistline."

"I don't see how anyone can recommend this establishment !?! Even if the food was good it is so dirty. The dust is so think on the ceilings it's falling onto the tables as you eat. The tables are sticky with layers of dirt. The walls are grimly as you can see by just looking at them. We took a few bites of our food and had to walk out it was that dirty at noon on a Friday. Bet sad"

"As I am staying in Santa Fe, I am trying all the different hamburger joints to find out which hamburger is the best. I really like this place. It's cool the people that work there are super nice and the food is plentiful. Ordered the bison burger, which was as big as a real bison, had the green chili onions mushrooms, the whole shebang. It was really good until I got to the last bite and they just happened to be a weird chunk of meat. That was not very edible. That ended my hamburger eating unfortunately but up until that point it was really really good. Also, their french fries are excellent. I would love to have seen onion rings because I'm a huge Ring fan, but with all that said, it was a very good experience and I would definitely go back and try a beef patty next"

"I used to love coming here all the time before the pandemic happened because of their amazingly swift staff and great burgers. I also can't forget to mention all of their sauce options! We came here for dinner and there were a couple of people ahead of us in line and it didn't take too long for them to get to us. I usually order the Cinco, which is one of the best burgers I've had. This time I got their special, Fried Pickle Burger, and I have to say I was pretty disappointed. I asked for avocado slices, medium-well temp burger, and no cheese and I only got one of those things. The burger was burned and charred and their was no avocado. We shared a basket of half and half fries and they were a little overdone and cold by the time we got them. The sauces are great still and helped save the day, but I don't know if that's enough to come back here again. Lastly, the place was just dirty. The bathrooms could use a deep clean and the trash area was gross and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days. They were pretty slowed and it looked like they had plenty of workers so it doesn't seem like a staffing issue, which would've been more understandable. All in all, decent burger and fries with amazing seances."

It is located in the old Sports Authority just South of cosco on Montano.1 There are several places inside this soon to be hopping food in entertainment venue once we get past this pandemic. I ordered a Burger and onion Rings. 1st let me say The Onion rings are the nice flowered and deep fried to a golden Brown kind. Not those crunchy frozen corn things. The Burger is ample size with lettuce tomato onion pickle and their special sauce. One word, delicious! I had to wait about 20 minutes, but it was worth the wait! The fry bread was really good. I ordered a frito pie burrito but received a breakfast burrito, so that bummed me out. I went around 11:30 and it wasn't too busy, but by noon the lunch rush was crazy which was a good indicator that people really enjoy eating here."

We were very happily surprised to find how fun it looked and how much the food has improved to go with the new atmosphere!Since I eat Keto, I got a cheeseburger without the bun and a coffee. Their coffee is fantastic! They even offer piñon coffee! It's self serve too with to go cups so fill up! My burger was AMAZING! It came with fresh, crisp veggies and homemade pickles. The meat itself was spiced just right and the cheese was delicious!My husband ate the homemade chips that came with my burger and loved it! He got the house salad (sans radish) with grilled chicken and balsamic dressing. He said it was fantastic! We will definitely be back to eat in and enjoy the ambience!"

Well folks, as if on cue, if you drive too fast, you will miss an excellent opportunity to actually stop, take a roadside sit, stretch your mind a bit to imagine parking your old Model T, and order some of the tastiest food anywhere!I honestly haven't gotten past the Indian Taco Burger with crisp fries. Instead of buns, the burger is more like perfectly seasoned ground beef wrapped in the crispest fry bread you are likely to find. Here is the cute part, the kitchen is SUPER mom-n-pop and housed in a portable shed with a window open to the parking area and a shaded patio with a couple of tables and chairs up front. So you order and then sit back and relax amidst acres upon acres of alfalfa fields and ranch houses. Sorry for you folks who squirm while eating al fresco and find a fly or wasp floating around you! This isn't the place for you. In fact, there really isn't a place like it anywhere in the metro area. I sometimes like to eat on the patio, or take it home to savor more deeply... But either way, I always order 2-5 fry breads to go. I mean, this is why I am so happily portly! Each is the size of a cast iron pan! Actually, all I need is a fry bread and gobs of honey and I can die a happy man.Try this place!"

"We head to the drive through at Carl's Jr. when we are in Los Lunas, NM. My husband loves the charred taste of the burgers which he says are much better than McDonalds. I usually opt for chicken of some type which is also better than the before mentioned place. Special orders don't upset them but you might have to pull into one of the assigned parking spaces to wait until they bring out your food. Try it...you'll like it."
