"This place is neat! It's quirky and in, like, a house. I had an urgent need for a chain wallet (don't ask), so I called up and they let me know they had one left. I popped over there, the one staff person there remembered me (I think she was the owner), and bam, transaction complete. She was super friendly and chill, and while I was in a rush and didn't explore the store, it seemed packed with goodies and had a great vibe. I love and pass through Albuquerque all the time, and I'll definitely stop by here again."
"If I had a vintage store (someday!?) I would want it to be something like this. You feel a bit transported when entering the blocky new building (how did those developers think that matched El Vado?) into a warm, colorful, maximalist shop. Good range of vintage...probably more 60s-80s than anything else, but there is definitely some earlier stuff and some newer items as well. Good pieces from all eras. Lots of clothes and some decorative and home goods as well. Prices seemed fair. I look forward to going back and exploring!"
"One of my favorite spots in Santa Fe. And yes, that's spoken from a tourist point of view. It's hard not to even though I'm from Santa Fe. It's on a busy corner near the downtown and many tourists are drawn in as they drive by. But that doesn't mean they don't have nice things through out. I have stopped in many times over the years. For things from Moccasins to "Story Tellers" to Kachina Dolls to different odds and ends gifts for relatives. I have gotten things for my daughter and for my mom. The last time I was around I spent a lot time trying to decide what Kachina doll I would like to get. The are more mini statue than doll. And there many different characters. Not to mention they are made differently from tribe to tribe. I got the "Black Ogre", but feel free to stop in and pick out something that connects with you."
"I've been shopping at Bodhi Bazaar since 1995. I'm not sure if my sense of style has changed (well, I hope it has actually considering I'm NOT 15 anymore) but I feel like the clothes were a bit more fun back then. This is still a great place to find things here and there. Always have great jeans and dresses...usually some neat jewelry to look at. A fun pair of shoes mysteriously placed and some fancy underwear in a corner make the shop a bit more special since they have a lot more than just overpriced you couldn't afford anyways. It's a great place to start if you are looking for something special to add to your closet."
"Wow. Looks like a few people have had really bad experiences here. That's too bad. This place was colorful and filled with jewelry--evidently, that's their main thing. They also had a case of retooled/ embellished Louis Vuitton bags, if the simple brown with logo doesn't meet the expectations of your bedazzler loving heart. They had some flowy, hit the buffet table without shame or fear of busting some buttons shifts, dresses and skirts. Felt like one of the sales ladies was following me around the store like a bad, obvious tail like a cop. It made me feel uncomfortable. Another staff lady was overly eager to describe who made what or what the material of the item was without being asked. Hey, can I just look around and signal if I want a rundown on where the sheep were raised before giving up their wool for this rainbow colored item."
"I came here checking out local businesses for Christmas gifts and they did not disappoint with some unique gifts like the green chile candle I got for a friend and a few funny towels. They carry a lot of locally made goods, check them out!"
"Big store great prices lots of different shoes great variety great nice staff good to have something new in the south valley area"
"I was drawn in by the dressed mannequin on the street. This boutique clothing store is amazing. The fabric is upcycled. If you love fabric design and unique clothes, you must come here. The skirts have an elastic waistband, so they fit everyone. The day I came, she had adorable dresses, skirts, kids clothes and accessories. The owner also makes super cute clutches and storage bags."
"Hi Bootman:) had a great time in Vegas and I can't wait to order some boots! It's difficult to find them in California!!! Thanks again!"
"Love this shop!! Wonderful local made art and wonderful seamstress, Priscilla! This is a total Go To place."
"Poco A Poco Patio is one of the several shopping and art gallery plazas in Old Town. This place was my favorite due to the fact that you feel like you are completely outside of space and time once you enter the patio. It kind of feels like Frontierland at Disneyland only much cooler and less children running around begging for pictures with Mickey."
"This place overwhelmed me a bit. I love thrift shopping, and have been to many other second hand joints around town. There is SO MUCH inventory here, you really need time to go through each corner. It seemed like there were lots of cool things, and somewhat organized, but it feels daunting going through everything. Maybe put less inventory out and rotate it? Not sure how to solve this problem, but it feels very chaotic. In any case, I may or may not stop in again to give it another whirl."

This is a great locally on shop! I recently had the opportunity to attend a workshop on maintenance of my skates. As fresh meat for the Duke City Roller Derby, this was extremely helpful. The owner, Emilia, did a demonstration and answered questions about maintenance and care for our skates. She was very knowledgeable and very friendly. The workshop was scheduled at noon, but I arrived a little early. It was on a Sunday, and I found that the shop doesn't open til noon anyway. Well I was waiting outside for the shop to open I had a chance to admire the quaintness of the place. It's an old home zoned for business. The business is surrounded by chain link fence that has been decorated with old skateboards turned art. I was in love with the look of it instantly.Inside, there is mostly stuff for skateboards. I know nothing about skateboards, but can appreciate the designs on the boards. There's also clothing, stickers , protective wear, handmade jewelry, and snacks. (Yay snacks!)I will definitely be coming back whenever I need something for my skates. Who knows, maybe I'll even try to learn how to use a skateboard.

Swan Song is one of those special places that makes you feel like a local even if you're from out of town. The shop owner is so nice and she has great tips on things to do in the Albuquerque area. The shop is beautifully curated with lots of unique local items. I got a vintage dress with a desert landscape pattern on it, a bag of locally made prickly pear candy, and an embossed leather purse - all at very affordable prices. Great shop!!

New store is bright and modern showcasing the clothes beautifully. Bodhi Bazaar is back to being my favorite shop in Santa Fe. Definitely raising the bar in DeVargas shopping center.

I can't believe after all this time I have not added a review for this fabulous store! It is one of my favorite local shops in Nob Hill. So much that I always bring my out of town friends and family to shop for out-of- the norm but, fun souvenirs. There are so many reasons to love this adorable place- 1. The shop has fun New Mexico themed items like tea towels, shirts, cups, ornaments, candles, etc.... 2. Some of the items are funny and sassy and that's my kind of humor3. The customer service is always welcoming and sweet. And the pricing is very reasonable.

"This place is cool but not in the literal sense. I walked in and the man behind the bar beered me right away. For a small nearly home brew set up it wasn't bad. They have maps for everywhere, books too! They don't have AC which if your from the area probably isn't a big deal but being from a cooler place it cut our stay short. It looks like they can print maps too but I'm not sure."
"A tactful and tenacious collection of western and native art and influence. Thanks for a great experience."
"The REAL DEAL if you need running shoes. Or really if you need any quality athletic shoe, specialty socks, or CUTE NM athletic gear. I did not realize the legit experience I was getting myself into when I stopped by this store. This is a very professional shoe fitting experience. Some tips for the newcomer to this shopping experience: Wear clothing you can actually run in. Come ready to have someone smell your feet as they size and fit shoes for you. Put on your confident emotions because you will walk as someone watches to evaluate your gait (not in a creepy way). This store was intimidating for me and I am a casual runner. I cannot imagine if I was just getting into exercising and visited this store. Just a note to the ownership - small talk skills and louder music would do this location wonders in bringing in more customers. I loved the hands on customer service, but running on a public treadmill in a store environment almost made me die of embarrassment. I do believe the embarrassment will be worth it in the quality fit and individuality of the shoe fitting experience. I did not tell the sales representative that my chiropractor has told me many times that my hips are off balance causing my back to overcompensate when I run - he always suggests I go to regular alignments - although I rarely follow his recommendations. Any way, the sales representative filmed me jogging on the treadmill to determine my running shoe needs. AND sure enough he identified my hip issue and found shoes to support me. I am so excited to start on this new running journey in my life! Thank you!!!!"
"Gorgeous new shop in Santa Fe- the owner has carefully curated everything from gifts, candles, apparel, and other various things you can see in the photos with love and local flair. It was so perfectly decorated and gives a relaxing feeling when you walk in. It was actually the delicate scent from the store candle that drew us in! Highly recommend a stroll in, thank you!"
"Squidly is a fantastic little shop full of color and handmade joy! There are many unique, handmade goods by local artisans as well as fresh flowers! The owners are kind, authentic people who work hard to uplift local artisans and the surrounding community. A visit to Squidly is a visit to a great place that supports local creativity and the economy! Here you can find gifts, unique/handmade items, fresh flowers, a positive/vibrant/colorful and uplifting atmosphere, stickers, cards, jewelry, fashion accessories, home goods, art and more!"
"So a friend of mine told me about this amazing store! I stopped in and was impressed with the creative styles of jewelry made out of aluminum! Beautiful and affordable. They had 4 tables with $6 earrings! Another table with $10 earrings. This makes spoiling yourself so easy! I'm sure I'll come back here for birthday presents. Zia pendant necklaces for $10. Ornaments, bracelets and so much more. Check them out! #newmexicotrue"
"Great store and selection of quality handmade huaraches etc! Wonderful lady at the counter. We need to support small businesses like these. Oh, and did I say lovely location? Truly a delight to shop here."
"Was looking for a cool souvenir to sport when I get back to SF... fail. The bookstore itself is huge but clothing sizes for women... nonexistent. They had UA and Nike items but most of them were all large and it was sad... I really liked their color: really bright red. For all you design geeks: think Pantone 485. They had some cool tshirts but they all had pink... (sigh...) Maybe next time they'll have size small and items that don't have pink in them... wishful thinking I know..."
"A small, upscale boutique that carries hard-to-find lines that cater to women who want that "I married a retired rockstar" look. They carry lines like Johnny Was and Habitat. For sure, this is a niche market, but for those who can afford it and want high quality, they'll find a treasure trove of unique, high quality goods. The owner/manager is really nice."
"Owner is welcoming & knowledgeable, great selection & prices. Store is organized if you don't see what your looking for just ask."
"What a great store and unique addition to Old Town Albuquerque! As of this writing, this is a very new business and I like their offerings. This store offers great options for stylish men. Everything from jeans, to shirts to accessories can be found here. There's also a section of cosmetic products that are great for all guys. Everything offered at Above Snakes is "clean" - all products are sustainable, made by those getting fair wages, ethically sourced, etc. This is a great spot and definitely worth a visit. Stop by this place and support this awesome business!"
"Luna and Luz is located in Old Town Albuquerque, New Mexico. This charming medium-sized boutique is full of local artisan gifts, but they also had some that I was familiar with when I lived in Southern California: P. F. Candle Co. I used to live within minutes of their factory - small world!I picked up this super soft Dwight Yoakam t-shirt for my significant other. He loved it.I also snatched a humorous farmer-inspired card. They have a ton of jewelry. Bags. Incenses. Other candles. Artwork. Books. Some children's books that looked highly interesting. For such a wide variety of items and so much of it I was surprised as to how easy it was to navigate. The young lady working the afternoon of 6/13/2023 was most amicable and accomodating."
"This place is great! It's a little boutique in the Paseo Del Norte Crossing area. It's in the same area as Simply Amish, Flying Star, and Vintage. You could miss it if you don't know it's there. I went there because a fellow yelper mentioned that they sell TOMS. I've been wanting a pair for awhile. A lot of places sell BOBS, but not TOMS. You walk in to this small boutique and are surrounded by unique gifts and clothes. Lots of yoga and fitness style clothing is available. There's jewelery, purses, and a small selection of shoes, including a variety of different TOMS colors and styles. They were decently priced (actually cheaper that what I found online), and there is a good selection. This store definitely features quality items...and some things are more expensive based on that. I will be stopping by Strive again!"
"This is such a cute little shop. They have a plethora of socks with fun designs on them, making gift buying for just about anybody an easy win. Know somebody with a love of Tabasco sauce? They've got socks for that. Know somebody who has a thing for Llamas? They've got socks for them too. Do you know anybody who it's a pan in the a$$ to shop for? Give them a gift certificate to this place and they will be happy."
"Happened to stumble across this store while checking out their neighbor, And Stuff. I'd never heard of them before this, but I thought the designs were cute and had to exercise some self-control to not indulge in some impulse shopping. But, now that I've seen their website, think it's even cooler because they give a portion of their profits to provide school lunches to local public schools... love when I can help support a good cause while also getting something I like in the process! Will need to come back and check out their stuff again! They've got t-shirts, hoodies, beanies, hats, and even baby onesies."
"Some 15 years ago I purchased the most beautiful ring of 14 carrot gold with 4 small diamonds and 6 inlayed opals. The ring initially cost several thousand dollars and rapidly became my wife's favorite and she wore it on a daily basis. For 15 years, the ring was perfect, and yet time took its toll and with a few of the opals cracking and falling out. We sent the ring back to Kabana for rejuvenation work and I picked the upper level opals for replacement. The ring was resized as well. The charge for this was $3800 yet I thought it was worth it, because of the beauty of the ring and it being my wife's favorite. I thought another 15 years would be a good trade, but this time she wore the ring not on a daily basis and certainly took it off for recreation and exercise as well. Seven months after receiving the ring, three out of the six opals chipped or were cracked with pieces falling out. I again sent the ring back to Kabana and this time they wanted $1900 to repair the ring. I made the point that it had lasted for 15 years initially and that the repair of seven months ago was obviously not the quality of the new ring and was faulty. Kabana refused to make any sort of concession and we're very poor communicators. I found this unacceptable to have to spend nearly $6000 in the space of seven months for the same repair. This lack of customer support has soured me on Kabana jewelry for sure. Why pay 3800$ if it doesn't get fixed correctly. I have thus decided that I have purchased my last piece of jewelry from Kabana and that their customer service and repair is not only substandard but willfully inadequate for a company with such a reputation as being a fine jeweler. In my opinion, Kabana has shot itself in the foot with poor customer service and communication, emails unanswered, and I would be very hesitant if I were a customer looking to purchase their jewelry now"
"I had some time to kill before my movie so I decided to walk around Cottonwood wall since to my surprise it was still open after 6pm. For it being a Sunday I have to say I was a bit shocked til I saw the Santa booth by the elevator and was reminded it was the holiday season so during the holidays they extend the hours. Anyways after walking around I found this shop. They had a lot of home decor, furniture, hand made blankets, apparel, geo rocks, novelties, jewelry, and so much more related to New Mexico. The blankets they had were so soft and neat, if I didn't have to buy Christmas presents, I would've bought one for myself. They had these dia de los muertos figurines that I absolutely fell in love with! The furniture they had was gorgeous! Wooden bed frames, tables, and even leather couches that were so comfortable and neat. The home decor items they had ranged from wooden sculptures to hand crafted metal figurines. They offered so much. Admittedly the prices were a bit high but it's to be expected for handcrafted products. The mineral rocks were gorgeous but pricey as well. Definitely didn't much under $10 but admittedly everything seemed very good quality so the prices I thought were fair. They are located where the old Zumies was by the elevator in the middle of the mall by the candle shop."
"Most helpful staff. Store is bright and colorful. All items are authentic and beautifully crafted and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend stopping in. I know I will the next time I am in Albuquerque."
"This is one of my favorite little shoppes. They have all things "Burque" or 505. I like to come here to shop for those unique New Mexican style gifts to send to friends from out of state or those friends who have left and transplanted in a new city. You can find zia symbol stickers, dia de los muertos style t-shirts, beanies and jewelry too. Stop by and check them out the next time you need a local souvenir for a friend or family. You will probably leave with something for yourself too! You'll find them in the Green Jeans Farmery container market."
"Love this place, beautiful one of a kind western wear. Just came in to look, and ended up buying a gorgeous fringe suede jacket. Owner is great...fun personality!"
"One of our favorite finds--ever! The first weekend of the month they have these huge markdowns (75%!) in the back of their store. My mom found a brand new dress for $50 which originally went for around $300. We know because the original price tag was still on it! And it was a fabulous dress. The jewelry in the front of the store is very high end and fine jewelry. Most pieces are made by local artists. I regret not buying one piece and am writing this review because l was thinking about calling the store and ordering one and having it shipped to me. I didn't find much in my budget but did find a pretty skirt in the clearance area in the front of the store that is great quality. If l lived here l would be a regular customer. If you are looking for a statement piece or an outfit for a nice evening, this is your place."
"Okay, so here's my vote on the Albuquerque fashion scene: virtually non-existent, and I'm not complaining. One of the virtues of living in a metro that honestly doesn't care about what you wear is that you can roll out of the sack, throw on some shorts and a t-shirt and go anywhere. Same goes for the entire state, really. Ever visit the Santa Fe opera? Sure, some people dress up, but formal threads are totally optional. The unfortunate, natural extension of all of this unfashionableness would be a visit to Walmart, where Burque peeps really flout their plumage: pajamas and slippers. And on the other side of the spectrum, people that make the effort to actually dress up around here are seriously critiqued. They don't fit. It's a strange predicament, something Portland solved a while back by declaring plaid the pattern of Those in the Know. Here in ABQ it's still Anything Goes, and often that goes horribly, horribly wrong.Toad Road is one of a few businesses that's all about Urban Eye for the Burque Guy (and girl), and I absolutely love it. The accessories for men, like ties and belt buckles and hats, actually compete with the incredible stuff they have for the ladies. Great tees, cool jeans and shirts and dresses. The artwork is fantastic, the murals are vibrant, there's so much to discover, here. And I don't understand the logic behind an advertising campaign that focusses on the frilly edges of sexy panties draped just above denim wrapped hips, but I'm not complaining. This shop is everything Urban Outfitters wishes it could be: connected to the energy on the street. Oh, and mommas, this is a seriously rocking Father's Day locale."
"Gift Me UpOne of the least expensive gift shops we visited here in Old Town ABQ, as all their prices on merchandise were extremely reasonable compared to a few other stores we visited. I highly recommend making this your first stop before you hit up the other establishments to get your souvenir on."
