This is the best place in Albuquerque to buy Catholic gifts.The store has some of the lowest prices for everything, medallions, rosaries, books, statues, and it all goes to support the local Ruthenian Catholic Church (who knew there were non-Roman Catholics, right?!)The gentleman who runs it is actually a Maronite Catholic (what are all these random other Catholics from around the world, seriously). He's very friendly and he cut me a deal when I purchased two of the more pricey icons.As icons go, they have a very, very large selection and the prices are fantastic. The selection of books is also very good, and very orthodox. You won't find any books written by dissenters in here.I highly, highly recommend it if you have friends soon to be confirmed, receive first Holy Communion, and so forth. If you're an icon addict like me, then you also need to shop here.

They don't have the selection that Garson's have, but they make it up in pleasantry.I was greeted at the door, and was s attended to with love. I needed a card for a friend, and they had just what I needed.

Byzantine Gift Shop is a small shop in the premises of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Byzantine Catholic Church. Although small, like the first reviewer Paul, we found the store has a good selection of medallions, rosaries, books, statues and many beautiful Catholic Icons at reasonable prices.The store has a small but good selection of the books describing the Byzantine Eastern Rite, its Liturgy, Icons, Saints such as the "Icon Revelation" by Sister Marie-Paul Farran describing what Icons are, and "The Assumption of our Most Holy Lady, The Mother of God and Ever-Virgin Mary" by St. Dimitri of Rostov. The store also carries post-Vatican II Catholic books.The staff is very helpful and checkout is easy. Parking is right outside the store.
