Burrito Familiar

So Far I've only had the Tacos de Pollo (Chicken) and asada. For a mere $7.00 you get four completely dressed tacos with cilantro, cabbage, tomato, and sided with limes and one of the top three salsa's I've EVER eaten. I added avocado for I think 75 cents.Friends Eber Salinas and Luis Laras run and own this food truck. When you call the number, usually Eber answers with, "bueno", NOT Burrito Familiar. But believe me, the phone number 316-2011 works, I call it twice weekly. I would suggest you call for pick up because if you just drive up, you will wait because in my opinion, these are some of the best tacos in town. Saturday's around lunch, they are slammed. Fyi, it is also the oldest taco/food truck on Airport road. I've been a satisfied customer since 2006. Search the SF Reporter for Burrito Familiar for a great story.

This is a mexican authentic tasting taco spot. Hidden gem. I have been eating here for over 10 years. I like their carne asada tacos, burrito and tortas are yummy.

lived up the road from this place when i was in santa de for 10yrs. every time we had the chance we stopped here for their steak burritos. i am hispanic and i tell you, nowhere have i had as good a steak burrito as they serve here! delicious! wonderful chopped seasoned steak, chopped veggie (seemed like tiny chopped squares of raw cabbage) wrapped in foil and BIG. like i could only eat a half and save a half.. sooooo good i wish i wasn't 900 miles away! i still dream of these burritos. their refried beans were also wonderful, freshly made REAL frijoles. go there, stand in line (very busy after work) and wait! it's worth it! people are lined up and ordering everything on the menu and it ALL looked delicious. no joke, these guys have THE BEST mexican food in santa fe.

The caldo the camarón is definitely one of the best in town.I will recommend to call to place your order if you don't want to wait.

This is my go to lunch stop. they take advance orders over the phone and everything is good value for reasonable prices... off the road a ways so it's quiet with some shade. I love the Burrito Montado made with chicken but it's all good and nice size portions.
