Bull O' the Woods Saloon

Great bar and grill. Have been coming here for years. New owner has definitely kick it up a couple notches. Green chili cheeseburger cooked just right and fries were crisp and flavorful. Beer is hand cramping cold. Bar staff actually introduced themselves...outstanding!

Extremely slow service both to get a drink and then ordering food. It took 25 minutes for an order of chicken wings. I stood in line over 15 minutes to pay my bar bill. Food and drink taste good but I didn'tt have any time to sit with my partner because I was always standing in lines. They need more staff and or improved processes. It was busy but there were open tables, so not packed.

A cool atmosphere, but the food was very mediocre and extremely overpriced. There are no servers so they ask you to buss your table after paying $17 for a single patty "hamburger" I've been visiting Red River for the past 6 years and this was the first place I've eaten at that I regretted. It's bar food that will cost you $20 per person. It may be a good place if you're just looking for a bar.

We ended up here because Red River Brewery had an 1.5 wait. Several other places were closing or closed at 2:00pm. We got here just before a huge rush. The bartender is slow and not able to handle a small rush. The food was satisfactory but way overpriced. Chips are pretty mediocre. The Queso is thin but better than nothing. Burger is good. Wedge salad has excellent blue cheese dressing and crumbles with bacon. It's overpriced but good. I definitely would not be in a rush to return. I would rather try the other places in town. If you're starving, you can stop in, otherwise find something else to eat.

Great spot to check out if you're in Red River. This was my first time to this beautiful small town, and this spot poppin!! Live music, corn hole and pool tables make this an epic location for fun times and a cold drink.

My husband and I sauntered into Bull O' the Woods for just a beer and ended up having a great time. It was a Wednesday night, so not much going on which suits us. We were very surprised to see the great beer selection including many IPAs, or beer of choice. The bartender was very helpful and personable. We played a couple free games of shuffle board (great equipment!). Great end to a delightful day. Thanks BOTW!

If you are looking for a watering hole with a great beer selection then look no further. Food is decent and well priced. Shoot a game of pool with a new friend or just sit and meet some folks at the bar.

The whole town and STATE has a mask mandate. Yet, this restaurant/bar doesn't even require their employees to wear them as a necklace......Walked in tonight and right back out I won't be backThey pick and choose what mandates they want to uphold. Makes a person wonder what's going on behind the scenes as well.

Some friends of mine and I were in Angel Fire for the weekend. It being the slow season not many things are open so we drove to Red River both Saturday and Sunday. Had a wonderful time at this cute little bar. Great selection of beer and great bartender. Will definitely be back the next time we are in town!

Frustrating place. You have to stand in one line and pay to order food. Then another line to order and pay for drinks. Definitely not a family thing. Tried it once. Won't do it again. It has an identity problem. Our food was only so so. Too many other places that have great service and food in Red River to eat. No table service. Way too many drunks for our family.
