We have been trying to get to Bruno's for months. Sadly they're closed on my days off but we made it today. It was so good! The service was wonderful and super friendly. The Granita is a great drink, a frozen lemon beverage that you can add a flavor to. First impression of the pizza, the sauce is DELICIOUS. You can see the fresh tomatoes in it and all the ingredients taste so fresh. Will definitely come back whenever I can. Chill outside area. I love this.

Born in Brooklyn, NY grew up on Long Island so my bar for NY Style Pizza is pretty high. My wife heard about this place and we decided to drive up and give it a try. We were not disappointed. We ordered the 16" pie #2 which is a cheese and pepperoni with roasted garlic. Bam was it good. Thin crust, crisp with those tell tale leopard skin bake marks on the underside of the crust. The Caesar salad actually had real anchovies on it. Talked at length with owner Vincente Bruno. He's in the process of renovating a building on site which they plan on opening soon as a private Speakeasy/Cigar Bar serving all the Italian dishes (and pizza) his grandfather taught him how to cook. No question we'll be back. Excellent pizza and owners who obviously love what they cook.

I preordered a lunch special (their online ordering is so easy) without the lemon slush and the pizza and cannoli were delicious! I work nearby and pass them daily. I saw a sign that they have NY Slices ready to go, so plan to walk over and have a slice and a large cannoli sometime for lunch. The assortment of pizzas they have is just perfect, and I plan to order one to take home sometime to celebrate Friday and have leftovers. The crust was delicious, perfect chew and browning. I've seen photos of the hot, wood burning oven so it makes sense it was so good. I'd like to see it in person if I do when it is slower (I don't want to be a bother on a busy day!). I really enjoyed the balance of the acidity to sweetness of the sauce. Something about the personal size pizza wasn't for me, I don't know what it was, but the quality and flavor of everything was superb. I consider it the best pizza I've had in Santa Fe, thus my desire to go back. The cannoli was delicious, the pastry was crisp and flaky, and the filling was a lovely level of sweetness so perfect for us folks who like a light sweet note after a meal. The mini cannoli is a perfect size for lunch! It was very flavorful while still feeling simple and clean. They do have a couple picnic tables outside so folks can sit and eat, and again their online ordering is great so I plan to use it again (unless I'm stopping by for a quick slice).

Decided to stop by for the first based on several recommendations from fellow East coasters living in the area. Bruno's did not disappoint. We had the XXL "Full Moon" Pie. The crust and sauce was on point. We finally found pizza that is authentic New York. The service was exceptional, and the ambiance, with the serving and eating area, reminded me of the traditional small pizzerias in the east coast. We will definitely be back.

We were visiting from San Antonio and after enjoying a really good pizza on the drive out, we were craving more pie at the end of our trip. Ratings were good so decided to try Bruno's. IT IS good pizza. The caprese & Cesar salad were a great touch as well. I had 3 meals with my 12" and my husband had 2 with the same size. I cannot leave without mentioning what a great Granita they offer. I've never had before and now want to research how I can make it at home. I believe she said she added pear to fresh lemons and filtered water. It was the most unbelievable drink! If you find yourself in Santa Fe, this is a must try! People are nice too!

Ok so I need to say up front that I rarely post a review. But on rare occasion it's imperative. Today my wife and I visited Bruno's for lunch. We are big (and rather discriminating) fans of NY-style pizza (even though we lived in Chicago for a decade before moving to Santa Fe). I think what I said to our server sums it up pretty succinctly. "There is a very famous pizzeria in Brooklyn named Grimaldi's. They are in the top two most famous NY pizzerias. They make awesome pizzas. That's why they're famous. But my pizza at Bruno's today was better." 'nuf said.One last thing. The difference between a great pizza and an award-winning pizza is the dough. No kidding. Love toppings! Love the sauce and the cheese! And it must be done right. But everybody falls short on the dough. But OMG, this dough! Crap, now I've got to go sneak some leftovers!
