Relentless in their quest for quality.It took me one year of getting quotes to finally decide on a company to convert our house to refrigerated air. After discussing the issues that older homes have, it became clear the Brothers Electro Mechanical had the knowledge to properly do this job. Additional perks also included the fact that they are the local dealer for Lennox, and that the owner is active in the business.The technicians began work on a Monday and worked non stop for four days until the system was fully functional. The job required a lot of custom alterations to house, and the staff at Brothers Electro Mechanical were more than comfortable spending hours at the onset of the job figuring out the best way to make the house accept the new system. Now that the unit is installed, I can highly recommend this company if you are in the market for an A/C conversion. The installation was excellent, the product performs like those found in commercial buildings, and the crew cleaned up after they were done, making it hard to suspect that the house just received a major alteration.............accept for the ice cold air of course.

We recently called on Brothers for repairs to a gas fireplace and to check furnace calibration at our home. Service man was on time, friendly, and efficient. Would use them again.

Needed a very old furnace replaced. The guys that came out to diagnose the issue were great. I was given several options. The guys that did the install were prompt, professional, and did really great work. They also got my water heater up to code. It's great to see people that have a work ethic and hold themselves to a high standard. Thank you!

We moved to Albuquerque in 2016 and, shortly after, determined that a new AC unit & furnace were needed for the house we purchased. After much research, we settled on Brother's Electro Mechanical. We cannot be happier with the resulting equipment and service we have received, both upon initial installation and annual service calls. The quote was reasonable and the rebates we became eligible for were explained, with application forms provided. The installation was done on time and was professional quality. I will continue to recommend Brother's Electro Mechanical to my friends & family!

Each and every year, twice a year I have to locate another company that can service my swamp cooler and furnace that sit on my 30ft roof. Every fall during the heater start-up I expect to pay the usual excessive rate of $100 regardless of who I go with. I say excessive because I have done the job myself in the past and it's pretty basic, doesn't take but 30min and apart from the long climb up the ladder doesn't require much skill. My issue today with Brothers is the fact that I was quoted that usual $100 before the scheduled service only to be charged 36% over at the close of the job. $20 of which was for the carbon monoxide test that I was told was included in the $100. I refused to pay more than the quote and the technician wouldn't hear me out and left saying to never contact them again...no problem sir, none at all.I did not give one star in this review because I do give credit to the technician for getting a filter (why they had none on hand is beyond me) and although he charged for this & I was willing to pay for that 'overage'- he was a kind gentlemen up until the billing dispute.

We called Brothers to fix an issue with our furnace. They sent out one mechanic and he said our issue was a sensor. He installed and went on his way. Approximately, two weeks later we had the exact same issue so we called them again. This time a different mechanic came out and said, no it wasn't the sensor it was something different. This time, it was a control panel. He left without saying much of anything except he would order a part. No quote or anything. When we learned the company was going to charge us a 2nd service fee, we contacted the company to get more information. We were told "the owner was on vacation." A second manager/owner returned the call a few days later became belligerent with my husband over the phone because they couldn't justify the second service fee. I was in a different room during the call but I could hear the "owner" yelling at my husband. My husband worked in HVAC, so he's no dummy when it comes to this stuff. We canceled whatever else they were planning to do and here were are-out $400.00 and our unit is still in the same place as before they came out. We'll have to hire someone else to do the work.Edited: We did receive notice that they knocked off the cost of the second visit. So that's a relief. But we still won't use them again because they were so rude.

They came to service my Lennox Mini split system and told me all three heads were leaking. The tech held up some hand held sensor he held up to each unit that supposedly indicated this, which may have been bogus in hindsight. They said they had to order internal parts and replace the coils, etc. They said it would cost $3500 and needed half of that too proceed. I was sceptical but they were certified Lennox repair so I went with it. I called Lennox, which Brothers didn't offer to do, because the units were still under warranty. Lennox ended up sending new units to replace what I had. I called the guy in charge at Brothers to get the labor reduced since they didn't have to spend as much time taking each unit apart. It didn't take long to replace the units with the new ones. The guy I talked to was very nasty about it and would not budge on the quote. We had a very heated argument over the phone but I thought I got him to agree to adjust the price down if in fact his workers didn't end up spending that much time as originally anticipated, which ended up being the case. In the end they charged me full price (they had my credit card}. Needless to say I got taken advantage of.

Brothers damaged my walls and metal wall vent when installing a new heater. They left black soot on the carpet in the room adjacent to the heater closet and the metal vent covering was bent & protrudes out from the wall. I paid them -- $6235.51 from October to March, including $5000. 00 + for a new heater. I have been a long term customer. When I asked him to repair the vent, the owner was hostile, said I was accusing him of damage, said my house was filthy, & that he would not repair the damage. A senior citezen who was living in another room & was soon to transition into a nursing home could not do the cleaning herself. I told him no one had access to the room where the damage occurred & that Brothers did that damage. I was shocked & hurt that I was treated so badly after all the money I had spent with this company. He was rude, non-professional, and would not stand by his work. He was the owner of the company.

Two brothers (Mike and David) who work for Brothers installed a new furnace last month and did an outstanding job. The installation process is a lengthy one, but so worth it in the end. Not only was their work too notch, but they cleaned up after themselves as well:)
