Brandywood Park Apartments

I feel sorry for the elderly residents here.. mood bugs and there is always someone dealing with the police .. also lack of ventalation in the units is alarming .. I moved here temporarily while my place was getting remodeled and I see alot of elderly people here and I feel bad for them..I wouldnt put my grandmother here . I feel like the conditions in the units would make them I'll and uncomfortable..no elevator so if you have limited mobility it would be difficult to live here (they might fall down the stairs if they live on the 2nd floor) the staff seem nice but apathetic. Also the appliances dont seem to work correctly (stove doesn't work half the time and sometimes goes cold in the middle of cooking the fridge keeps freezing my groceries) and the hot water never seems to get very hot. They say there hated but the gate is only 4 ft tall and won't do anything to keep thieves out.. the laundry room gets locked up at night ( was in the middle of sock laundry one night and had to go to work without socks the next day because I couldn't get into the room) honelsy your better off spending an extra 100 bucks or so for a better appt in a different area of town

Do not move here! I lived here for two years and the place is infested with bed bugs and mold. Do a public records search and you will see a ton of complaints from past residents who have called 311 and other city offices. I was treated for bed bugs twice and each time they charge 120.00 even when it's not your fault, the bugs move from one apartment to another and never go away. The manager will threaten to evict you if you do not pay the 120.00!! It wasn't my fault the building is infested! They just take your money and repair NOTHING they only patch things and say you are the problem! The buildings are full of mold and water leaks from the roof and other places inside the wall. Maintenance paints over the mold will start leaking through the paint over time. I did a public records search and found this paper from the code enforcement along with a list of other complaint calls reported to 311. Almost everything I owned was tossed in the trash. The owners, old man and his daughter are rude and could care less. The manager acts nice but is hateful behind your back. Don't fall for the move in special cause it's a trap to get you in and they will try and sue you when you move out for their lack of maintenance. The maintenance man is inadequate and not certified to fix things and they will not call a service professional. Beware! Manager is scared of people who cause problems and will not evict them. People have been assaulted by other residents and their friends, domestic violence, drug deals, robbery and she does nothing about it but tells you to call security who never shows up or if he does it's a young kid who says trouble affects his ptsd and he leaves. Full of roaches and the pest control comes every 3 to 4 months. Save yourself the heartache or if you do move in keep your belongings in storage away from mold, bed bugs, roaches etc...It looks all nice outside but look around closely you will see the water leak spots and damage roof.

A very nice place to live on this side of town. Actually the nicest place this side of town to live. It is gated and the they are very choosey with who they let move in. I have seen a total of maybe 5 roaches in the entire two years ive lived here (because I am clean and smarter than the roaches), No bed bugs and mold free. I am a very clean and am highly educated with keeping a bug and mold free environment so that does play a factor. There is free wifi which works great as long as the neighbor illegally downloading 24/7 doesnt move in and laundry room and pool right here. Also there is a club lounge, cant forget that. Everything is kept clean and looking great by the friendly staff including the grass. I dont plan on moving anytime soon.
