Brakes Unlimited

My wife and I were on our way to New Orleans from Bakersfield, Ca, and our brake pads began to run against the wheel wheel in Albuquerque. We came here around 11 hoping to get on the road that same day, talked to the mechanic, and not only did he get us back on the road in a few hours but also gave us a fair price for the parts and repairs. We are currently in Denton, TX, and the brakes have been working like a charm! After seeing the reviews of the other brake companies in the area (ex: Brake Master), I would highly recommend Dave at Brakes Unlimited!

Dave is a honest mechanic. His shop isnt fancy but he gets the job done and wont rip you off or keep your vehicle unnecessarily for a long time. Im a woman who appreicates a job done right without being sold parts i dont need. I trust this shop 100%

The owner who does the work as well is amazing: Not only is he super friendly, but he will not rip you off in anyway like others do (so single women, you're safe here). He explains to you in detail what he did as well as what was wrong. Great warranties and prices as well!

I'll start with this, I am in Houston and my wife is in Albuquerque with family. Her car was having issues with brakes. We found Brakes Unlimited near where my wife is staying. I called and spoke to Dave, he is the owner of a one man shop. He said he does it all, from answering phones and all the mechanic work. Overall he offers general auto repair. He listened to what our problem was. Dave suggested we get a free inspection from another shop, which my wife did and that shop also gave us a quote. Dave also said to get back to him after the inspection as he was sure he could save us money. But we also had another problem, the only day my wife could get this done was on Saturday which is the day he is busy with his U-haul part of his business, but in this case he said he would make an exception to help us. My wife took her car to Brakes Unlimited on Saturday and Dave got the job done! He also saved us over $400. I can truly say that I felt good about this man right from the beginning. Thank you Dave!

David does excellent work and is very affordable. He is honest and straightforward and does only the work that a vehicle needs. It's tough to find an honest mechanic these days, but this is the place. Can't recommend him enough.
