The beer is always great. Period. I also love the way they do things to make the neighborhood better. Book fairs, glassblowing and so many other events.THEN they added a kitchen? Some of the best pizza in town is coming out of the bear pizza ovens. Also the Cubano and the poppers are top knotch

I have the Italian sandwich and my daughter had the Albuquerque Turkey. Also excellent. The staff was very helpful. Place is a little small but very nice. They also have pinball machines! They are open at 11:00 everyday I recommend them for lunch!

We love Boxing Bear! This location has been open for about a year. Like our regular BB hangout on Tramway & Candelaria, Firestone features all of the excellent Boxing Bear regular and seasonal offerings as well as barrel aged gems. When our excellent beertender could tell we were eying the barrel aged options, she quickly served up two samples of the one that she was about to add to the board. It was a fabulous Chocolate Milk Stout aged in Pinot Noir Barrels. Yes!!!!If you're checking out the Albuquerque brewery scene, be sure to add Boxing Bear to your list--you'll be glad you did! And if beer swag is your thing, you'll get a kick out of their distinctive and adorable logo. There's even a pandemic themed design featuring a masked boxing bear. Fun! Cheers and Yelp On, y'all!

This venue has not only great beer, but they now have food and it's all made from scratch and DELICIOUS. I've had the pizza and they make their own crust and it's so good. They also use fresh ingredients for all their food. I almost want to come here just to eat!!! I recommend the Cubano and the cheddar bacon jalapeños. Beer is GREAT too.

Went on a Tuesday night. Real slow but friendly bar maid and tasty bear. Clean and nice facility definitely would come back.

Cool spot! I had no idea this watering hole existed before my bro-in-law taxied us over on a Wednesday, which allowed me the rare opportunity to quaff more than a couple of pints without stressing getting behind the wheel. It's a tap room, so there's only so much to report:+ Very impressive selection of brews, ciders, sours and bears, oh my! This company has finally gotten with the Local program, brewing up hoppy beers galore, they're not there yet, but the overall quality of the product easily measures up to standard in this city.+ No food, save salted-in-the-shell peanuts, but the food truck schedule is at https://boxingbearbrewing.com/locations/+ A nice covered patio, plenty of indoor seating and a house rule that does not permit customers to stand in a particular spot next to the bar.+ Check out that mural! And if you're around when they get the dumpster emptied, check out the illustration there, too. Grrrrr!
