Trying out this new bagel shop near the DeVargas Center for lunch. It was a nice well run clean shop with friendly staff. Bagel was fresh, and tasty with nice cream cheese. I will definitely come by here next time in town.

This place is super bi-polar.Sometimes the bagels are great, but often they are terrible. I fully agree with the comments stating the staff is rude and dismissive. They make it very clear they are having a bad day and that your presence is an annoyance. The woman at the counter is horrible. She needs to find a new job... her customer service skills are non-existent. If she is an owner, this place is doomed to go out of business this year. Mark my words.

Dang, I was not expecting the perfect flaky pastry from this little hippy-looking coffee shop! So delicious. When I got it I thought "maybe I should get a to-go bag and save half for later," but it was so fluffy and light, with the perfect raspberry filling, you can guess what happened. The coffee is good, too, but honestly I was so blown away by the pastry I didn't really notice it. There are a few little tables and a sofa inside and tables outside. They have games, too, to make it more of a community space. I'll have to go back and try their bagels! I was able to walk there, so can't comment on the parking situation, but it seemed like they should be finishing up the road construction any day now. Go get some breakfast--you won't regret it!

Was greeted with a very friendly employee at the counter and then had to mull over my options because so many of the bagels and pastries looked great! Went with the Green Chili cheese bagel and put egg and cheese on it. A wonderful breakfast sandwich with fluffy eggs and melted cheese. Very pleased. Did add a bit of salt and pepper to complete it but was a great start to the day with this sandwich.Chai tea had that needed spice level. Yum

Woweeeee!!!!!!! I love the fact my big sister drove me to Sante Fe knowing I lived in NYC for 8 years and missed my bagels and primarily MY BIALYS!!!!! And couldn't find what I wanted in ABQ. Service was wonderful, be had the pup with us and I got my "bialys and coffee" and played free pac man!!! Next time if I can I'm pre-ordering stuff to bring back to ABQ. The little courtyard is cool too especially for pups who like to sunbathe.

We came in on Saturday morning for some pastries to go. I enjoyed their salmon bagel with the lox as well as their apple tart! They were our go to pastry shop for our mornings in Santa Fe.

Based on recent reviews, we wanted to try this establishment. Due to construction it was difficult to get to. This of course was a minor inconvenience. Parking is very difficult as the location is in a somewhat residential area. There were very few spaces. Unfortunately it went down hill from there. When we entered there was no one to greet us. We just went to the counter to order. There was no menu. I saw bagels so I ordered one. Asked want the daily quiche was and was answered with attitude. We asked her to repeat and she was totally annoyed. We ordered coffee and was directed to the station where all the sugar and creamer was. The icing on the cake was the spoiled milk in the thermos! The bagel was tasteless and the quiche mediocre. This place is dirty and obviously the board of health has not visited lately!

The most memorable part about BoulTawns was the extremely friendly staff. We were greeted by a smiling face eager to take our order. The space was also very inviting and had plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Good vibes all around. Being in New Mexico, of course I had the green chili cheese bagel. The bagel was fluffy and nicely toasted. Plenty of cream cheese on it (almost too much, but better to have more than not enough). Now for the hard part of the review.... the coffee. I ordered an iced latte, pretty basic. It was so bad. The roast was very burnt and I didn't even drink it, leaving to go get coffee somewhere else. I would definitely come back for the service and the space, but not the coffee.

My husband and I stopped by after a hike for an afternoon snack. We got coffee which wasn't the best but the bagel was so nice, chewy and fresh!! Loved the hatch chile cream cheese too. We went to come back for more of these before we leave Santa Fe. Service was really friendly too!! Give this spot a try!! Yummmm.

Bagels in Santa Fe? I was a little wary before my recent visit to this out of the way spot, but ended up being pleasantly surprised by this cute and bohemian spot's take on the classic. Her egg and cheese on sesame was nice, whereas my green chile bagel with a green chile schmear (I had to, of course) was delicious. While a little fluffier and cakier than that classic NY chew, it was a nice and satisfying breakfast. Boultawn's is a perfect spot for a little variety at breakfast in Santa Fe.
