Great little bookstore on the west side of town. They have a solid selection of books including books from local authors as well as new, popular titles. Most of the books are brand new but they have some used books mixed in. I personally like purchasing the used books because they are at a better price point and I often come across titles I wouldn't normally. Bonus points for being in the same plaza as some fun places to eat or grab a treat.

Loved my experience Bosque Books! The whole esthetic is lovely even the bathrooms. I love the little coffee, tea area at the front. They have a pretty good selection of books as well. Their selection of board books is thin but other then that they have a large verity of books for older kids. They also sell t-shirts, jewelry, mugs etc. They have a calendar with events book signings, trivia etc!The space was very calming and would love to go back when ready to buy my son more books.

Such a cute little local store. They have multiple seating areas and a wide variety of books. I also really love that they have a small section dedicated to local writers. Everything that I looked at, including the snacks were decently priced. And the store attendant very kind. If you like Barnes and noble but want to shop local, come here.

Books on the Bosque is a cute little bookstore on the West side inside Riverside Plaza. The bookstore focuses on new books, although there are a few scattered used selections and then an antiquarian books section. They've got treats, coffee, and a seating area for reading or chatting with friends. The day I visited on a Sunday early evening they had a live jazz band playing and there are events through the week. There's a children's section, middle readers, YA, mystery, classics, antiquarian, sci-fi, biography & memoir, new releases, and other sections. I wish there would have been more titles, and specially used selections, as buying a single book for list price can add up very quickly. The bookstore just opened last year, so ideally they'll fill more of the space with further titles as time goes on.

Today was finally my first time at Books on the Bosque. I love the whole feel of this independent book store. The friendly and awesome woman was very helpful and asked about my interests and I bought two of her recommendations and the third was one I picked but she said it was a great book. I love the assortment of puzzles that they have that are more artistic than the puzzles you would normally see. They have a nice selection of Zia sodas and other beverages. There are also a good selection of book clubs you can join if that is an interest to people. I look forward to returning to this wonderful book store. I already started reading Let's Pretend This Never Happened and actually laughed out loud a few paragraphs in!

I thought this was such a cute bookstore! I don't live on this side of town, but wandered in while waiting for a seat at a neighboring restaurant. There happened to be a kid craft event while I was there and it was so much fun. My daughter loved making the bookmark wands with all the stickers and the lady running the event was so nice. I would definitely recommend this cute little bookstore and will be back again!

Speaking as a neighbor in this 'hood, let me say, all of the businesses that've opened in this shopping center -- since the world reopened -- rock. I can get virtually all of my needs met in my own backyard, from the chiropractor I visited a couple of months ago, to Korean food, Macarons and gelato, a cafe is about to open up (right next to my weed shop), I mean, we have just about everything. But THIS, a cool new independent bookstore? Best. Business. Ever.At least as of the grand opening, this nerdy paradise ditches the typical jam-the-shelves model for a clean, carefully manicured selection of better known volumes of many genres. I'm sure as time goes by they'll get to know their neighbors (like me) better, and the character will slightly change, but I really enjoyed wandering aisles where I could often judge books by their covers. Bonus: comfortable seating areas, snack and drinks. The other day I was reading a summary of a novel online, on one of those sites that put independent bookstores on life support, and the summary urged the reader to buy the book from a local seller. I thought to myself, y'know, of course I should. And it was easy, and I felt better doing so, and I urge you to do the same. Sorry eastsiderz, you're going to have to swallow the fact that the westside is becoming a terrific place to live.

We've been watching the building waiting for an opening so we could stop. Today was the day. Small store limited in their stock - may be the newness. Didn't ask if they could order books in. I would think so. But for us books are an impulse buy. Plenty of room to grow. It's bright and airy without the clutter. Right now there's plenty of seating to read and enjoy a cup of coffee. No brand name coffee here - Keurig cups for sale. Even a seating area for the kiddos complete with small chairs. I'll give it a little time to grow and try again.
