Fun environment but unfortunately the food and service were mediocre. I came with 3 others and we all got burgers; definitely not worth what we were charged. Go for the beer and patio views but eat before.

The food, music, and drinks are all really great. I will go back based on the food and drinks alone. Atmosphere is cute and music is good, fun for a date. But the service leaves a lot to be desired. Not greeted, not warm and/or friendly, just looking down on their phones until you take your drink to the bar (if you're at a table eating) and ask for something. It's fine, we were always served promptly when we asked. Food and drink service were quick. But if you're looking for any sort of hospitality at all, this ain't it.Please hire at least one friendly person on staff. Just one. It makes a difference when deciding whether or not we want to stay and refresh drinks, or just head out.

Back in town and tried this new location. Service was friendly and attentive. We tried their cocktails and we enjoyed them. We ordered a Paloma and a mule. Great neighborhood brewery!

For those of us in this corner of ABQ, Boese on Tramway has been a god send! A cozy, friendly neighborhood tap room serving beer, cocktails and a terrific sandwich menu. The Burque Turkey and Ruben are my personal favorites, and hard to beat the German pretzel and cheese dip for a light snack. Nice selection of beers and very friendly service!

Beer is fine. This is a small neighborhood brewery. If you're in the area it works. Wouldn't go out of my way. Staff is okay. Not overly friendly.

Excellent beer. Excellent food. This was my first time here so I tried a beer flight first. Ended up getting a pint of the Marzen which was delicious. The beers I tried were all very well balanced and flavored. The sandwich I had was very good. The vegetables were crisp and fresh and the bread seemed homemade. It was light and flavorful. I'm disappointed that it took me this long to come here - I feel like Ive been missing out for a long time. The service was great and the music is good. The tables are open and the place is welcoming. I would definitely recommend coming here for a good beer and some good food.

If this isn't a neighborhood bar(brewery), I don't know what is! It is definitely off the beaten path. I've driven by Boese Bros a few times and decided to stop in to try it one night. Got there around 9pm and it was not crowded. Hmm. Turns out that they have a lot of their business closer to normal lunch and dinner times because many of their customers live in that neighborhood. It isn't exactly the kind of place that gets a lot of drive-by business. However, through word-of-mouth, and of course Yelp, I'm sure it won't stay a neighborhood secret for long. The waitress was sweet and happy to explain the drink menu to us. I liked that they had flights of four 4oz drinks you could order to get a true sample of their choices. My dinner companion and I split that so we had two each. I got the Apple Cider and the Cherry Sour Ale. My companion got Tru Blu Pilsner and the Duke City Lager. The ale really was very tart. The Apple Cider tasted like champagne, as the waitress explained. I like champagne and I preferred the cider over the ale. My companion enjoyed both of his drinks. They had a pretty large food menu for a brew pub. I ordered the tuna melt. On the sandwich was cheddar cheese, onion and tomato and it was served on sourdough. It came with chips and a pickle. Everything about the sandwich sounded perfect to my taste, but I don't think I'll order it again. The tuna was just a bit fishy for my taste. I know that sounds odd, but it wasn't a flavor I was used to and I've had my share of tuna melts since it is my favorite sandwich. On the other hand, my companion ordered the Reuben and he thought it was exceptional. So no problem, I'll definitely go back again. I'll just order something different and with all the choices, I'm certain to find some favorites. I love businesses that are local and there was a very comfortable vib to this place.

I'm calling it. This place is going to outgrow this spot in record time. If opening night is any indication, they are going to do very, very well here. We stopped in on opening day (11/30) thinking that most folks may not know that this little gem had opened. Well, we were very, very wrong- this place was PACKED. Despite it being opening day and being literal butts to elbows, the service was great and somehow managing it. Great servers with great attitudes. Now, we have never actually been to Boese Bros or Desert Dogs but have heard good things about them. There's a lot of breweries in ABQ these days. There's a lot of awesome breweries, even. I'm happy to report that Boese is pretty darn solid and can hold it's own. The beers are actually memorable for the quality. Nothing too weird, just solid brews. The ciders from DD are pretty awesome as well and I'm a cider snob. Not too sweet, high octane- just the way I like them. I have a theory that you have to start with a place's pilsner- if it's good then it's a good indicator the rest will be. If it's bad, well, the rest is a crap shoot. The pilsner, my friends, is excellent. So is the IPA. And the mango cider too even though I fully recognize that sounds weird and disgusting (which is precisely why I tried it). It's DELICIOUS and I was pleasantly surprised. These guys tapped into (pardon the pun) a major need up in the heights/foothills area. There is absolutely no breweries up here. Marble NE is great but having some variety in the rotation nearby is desperately needed and even still, it's a bit of a drive away. Next closest is Canteen on Cloudview and I think Star Bros. Neither of which are particularly close. Another bonus? They got food. Sammys and such but those are some darn good sandwiches. My boo got the chicken club and I tried a tasty bite...er...3. Nom nom nom. So, giver 'er a try and I promise you'll be back. Welcome to the 'hood, Brahs!!!

I've eaten here many times over the years going back to when they first opened. During the governor's lockdowns we would sit outside in the freezing cold to support the local watering hole.I miss the old menu. The food has become far, far too salty. I can't take it anymore. I go home and have to drink at least a gallon of water throughout the night, which is nothing other than a sleepless night, thanks to the insane amount of salt in their food.Beers and cocktails are good, but the food has gone way downhill, thanks to the insane amount of salt. If the amount of salt were to be cut in half, it would still be far too much salt compared to other burger and sandwich restaurants.

Great little place with friendly, attentive staff. Beer was excellent - we had the blueberry sour and hazy beer. Food was also fantastic - we had the soft pretzel (which comes with a really nice cheese dip and mustard sauce) and green Chile grilled cheese. All staff members were wearing masks, checked on us frequently to make sure we were happy, and brought out our beers quick!
