Just a Warning! My Wife Used a Tour Company Called "Blue Sky Tours" Wife was booked in 2019 Just as Covid Started. That Company rescheduled and again charged more said airfare went up! She has about $1,200 paid Covid and Governor stopped travel again! I tried to get Refund from Visa "said too long ago! I called Alaskaair Ther told me they would be happy to transfer the ticket, But Blue Sky Tours never gave any of the money to Alaskaair now they said Wife had until end of year to reuse or the $1,200 is gone. This is for one Ticked Coach class! They said have to use the funds to go to Hawaii or south pacific only. The Problem I can buy a ticket from Seattle to Maui R/T for 1/2 of what Blue Sky Tours wants, So Pissed I did not just Book Wife with AlaskaAir! Anyone reading this Beware of Blue Sky Tours!

I have worked with BST for 26 years, so no one knows them better. This company started as a home grown Albuquerque company, and has now become an important part of one of the largest wholesale travel operations in the USA. Blue Sky Tours is the part of the company that KNOWS Hawai'i. They send people to Hawai'i, to visit the properties that they sell, so they know what they are offering to their Travel Agent clients. As a Travel Agency, we appreciate them selling only to TAs. They realize that professional TAs can focus on the travelers, while they work on securing good contracts with professional suppliers. The result of this is great prices for the travelers and focused attention on the details of the trips. Personal attention is what will be the difference between a good trip and a great trip. One of the features that really helps the travelers is the BST "layaway plan" that lets travelers put down a small deposit, and hold the trip until about 35 days before travel. This doesn't cost anything extra, and it lets the traveler budget so that anyone, who does some planning, can afford a trip to Hawai'i. BST acts as the money manager for the traveler and their money is safe with them. BST is full service. TAs can reserve air, hotel, car and activities with them. Went thru a local travel agency for a family vacation party of 10 to Hawaii .. day before we were to leave the airline stated there was no confirmation for our seats on the airplane .. which my itinerary from blue sky said otherwise . Call blue sky and received no help and basically she told me that seats are subject to change . Airline agent stated that there was no seats at all that were confirmed and with a party of 10 it would have unlikely for change. I spent 2 hrs on the phone with the airline to find seats for all of us ... then to top it off the so called confirmed seats on the return flight was a mess too. Spent another hour again getting seats for our group . I would not have hired a travel agency if I was to book everything myself .. they got there fees which I feel should be refunded .. will not use again ... sorry.. this was to be a stress free family vacation .. disappointed.
