I have had the pleasure of Blue Rose photographing various celebrations for over 23 years. If there is an important life event Blue Rose is my first choice in quality photographs. My daughter is graduating in a year and I am excited for Blue Rose to photograph this accomplishment. I was extremely pleased to see that this company still has a lay-away plan. These were a dying thing 23 years ago, and almost unheard of except at Christmas time now, but Blue Rose still offers lay-away. When planning our wedding I was told over and over, to get the best photographer! Sandy did an amazing job, and the lay-away allowed me to afford all I wanted and pay over time! Shop the other guys and then see Blue Rose for the most amazing photos of your important, one of a kind event. Blue Rose offers many different styles and formats for your photographs. I would like to marry all over again to order the new books being offered! I almost forgot there are canvas portraits available too!

Always impressed! I have had the opportunity to work with Blue Rose on quite a few events. Photographers are always professional, timely and super sweet. Photos are of high quality and very beautiful! Would definitely recommend.

I was married in 2013 and we met with Sandy back in 2012. We interviewed several photographers and based on the work we saw, the friendliness and the fact that Sandy was a woman who owned her own business we chose Sandy, Blue Rose Photography. Sandy was a doll when we first met her- we just fell in love with her.Our engagement photos were fabulous. They were just as we expected them to be-perfect.Along comes our wedding. The day went without a single flaw. All was perfect.We then got an email saying that our 'edits/proofs' were ready to view online....about 4-6 weeks after our wedding. We were very excited to view them and couldn't wait to get our album. As we sat down to view the pictures, one by one tears started to drip down my face. The pictures were AWFUL!People were missing from the bridal party, there was a huge gap in people on the altar, and there was only one photo of me (the bride) with my family. There were no pictures of the bridal party together. There were no pictures with our families joined as one. My wedding dress was in bad lighting and blended in with the window so you could not see my dress. My dress was on a hideous ugly hanger. There were no pictures of our homemade candles that were made for the reception. There was one shot of our 'pie table'. People from the bridal party had hands in their pockets; bridal party had their eyes closed. Pictures were missing and when we brought it up she said 'there was a glitch' and posted them.All in all the pictures were bad- simply not satisfying.We emailed Sandy immediately. It took 3-4 days with no response. I then emailed her again and then finally heard back from her. We scheduled an appointment to meet with her in her office because she said it was our computer that was viewing the pictures poorly.We met with her in her office- I was in tears. Not once did she APOLOGIZE! She was defensive and through her hands up and said "I am not dealing with you" she walked away and sent her 'assistant Daniel' in to finish our meeting. The albums and the fabulous work we had seen did not match our work from our wedding. At the end of the day after tears and back and forth-- still we have had no apology. No compensation. We received our album after pulling teeth to get it filled with the 'best' pictures we could find out of our 500 photos. We love the album we received and we believe it is because of the quality of the album itself. It truly makes the photos look beautiful. They send the album to Italy to be made-- so it is professionally done and it looks amazing.I would have to say Sandy is the most rude and unprofessional human being I have ever dealt with. Still 6 months after fighting with her she never once said I am sorry which goes a lot further than any refund. Rumor has it the work we had originally seen belonged to her son not her, her son used to own the company. That has me to believe why my pictures came out the way they did. I would not suggest using Sandy for a wedding. Family photos are a possibility.

I have had the pleasure of working with Blue Rose Photography since 2007. I book Blue Rose for weddings and events through my company and also for personal photography needs. I would venture to say that Blue Rose is probably the best photography company in New Mexico, offering impeccable design and composition, appropriate pricing structures and incredible customer service. They also design beautiful, custom photo books and prints of their work that you can order in addition to your photo shoot. I give them 6 stars out of 5!

After attending a wedding that Blue Rose shot, i was so impressed. They were so professional, respectful and caring with the guests and attending families. My friend was so pleased with her wedding photos, album and portraits. Their special day is documented so beautifully. After seeing her wedding album and portraits i was completely blown away. Blue Rose is the best. I have since hired them to document my brothers business opening, my nephews confirmation and family portraits.

We shopped around for a wedding photographer and decided on using Blue Rose. They came highly recommended by other vendors involved with our wedding. I'm a woman business owner, too, so I wanted to support her but that's not why we chose her. We chose Sandy because of her skill, flexibility, and positive energy. Sandy did our engagement shoot outdoors and our wedding indoors. There were so many terrific photos to choose from! She captured our excitement and joy beautifully! Sandy is creative in composition, terrific with lighting and colors, and made everyone feel comfortable. Her positive energy, great personality, wonderful customer service, and love of her craft radiates from her. I couldn't recommend her more highly!!

My fiancé and I met with Sandy at Blue Rose Photography after she came highly recommended to us by other vendors we were using for our wedding. We thought we would interview other studios but we were so put at ease by her obvious professionalism and talent that we decided to use her on the spot. We are so glad we did.Sandy did our engagement photos which were amazing and then did an wonderful job on our wedding photos. We were always at ease and we felt like we were movie stars during the process. Sandy has a way of making you feel special and photogenic. Having her do our wedding pictures made our special day even more magical. The end results were fantastic. We believe we got everything we paid for and more. You can't go wrong using Blue Rose Photography.

I have had the pleasure of working with Blue Rose on several occasions in the past year and in that short time I feel confident in saying that Blue Rose is the best photography company in town. The quality of their work is outstanding! You can let go of all your worries about your photos knowing the camera is in their hands. Not only are Sandy and Kristina amazing photographers, but their uplifting personalities make everyone around them feel comfortable and happy! I am so excited to now have booked Blue Rose for my own wedding next September and I absolutely cannot wait to see the photos I know I will cherish for the rest of my life.

Very disappointed in the quality of work. The photographer at my daughters wedding did not check her backgrounds to see if someone would be in the photo that should not be (church staff). Too many kissing photos of the bride and groom! I have seen better photos taken from friends at the wedding. Also, if you do not spend the big bucks, you get the worse photographer (learn basic rules of photograghy)! I have a few more weddings in the future and I will not use Blue Rose.

We got married at the Loretto Chapel in Santa Fe, Blue Rose was one of the vendors to select from for the package I selected. I am so grateful I went with Blue Rose!! Sandy did an amazing job! Our photos are some of the most beautiful wedding photos I have ever seen! In addition, they allowed us to do an interest free lay away for our beautiful wedding album which was so helpful as these are expensive, very worth the money yet hard to accommodate the cost after all the costs of a wedding! I do NOT hesitate to recommend Blue Rose!!!
