Blown Away Hair Salon

I wish I would have seen the first review. I went to see Nikki after I saw my daughters hair, she did an amazing job on it. I went to see her while in New Mexico visiting from California. I asked for caramel highlights and she gave me tiger strips (blond/orange) how does this happen? Well, she was too busy on her phone and left me under the dryer to long. I called to complain and she tells me what to buy to fix hair. In a nutshell, I am to do my own hair to fix it. I paid her $120 for mine and $120 for my daughter's hairs. She did a terrible job and I would not recommend anyone to let her touch your hair. If Nikki stays off her phone while doing a customer's hair and pays attention to what she is doing. I am very disappointed with Nikki and the shop. $240 down the drain. Stay away from this shop!!

Terrible customer service, Jessie did my hair, I asked for a blonde ombré and got Orange when I told her that I was not okay with that color and wanted a refund she got offended and did not speak to me professionally at all. She even left during the middle of my appointment to go Downtown while I had bleach in my hair and fried it.

"BLOWN AWAY HAIR SALON", is exactly what they do. The styles I went to was Sonya, she stated that she had 7 years experience cutting and coloring hair. With the damage that she has done to my hair, her 7 years seemed more like a year experience. Sonya had fried my hair so badly that I lost most of my long hair on one side of my head from bleaching it to long; and she also burned my scalp while toning. It's so bad that I have 1st degree burns and blisters. The most upsetting part was she knew my hair was coming out and she stated that it was normal. But it got worse when it dried; chunks of hair were falling out, and my hair got so frizzy that to the touch it was crunchy. I can't even style it because im too afraid to touch it, and afraid that more hair will detach. Even if I could style it, it would look horrible because I have chunks of hair missing and they are very visibly and uneven. I'm so upset because I paid $200 for damage and hair loss service. Asked for my money back and they said no. But offered free services. Why would I want more services from them if they are the ones who demolished my hair. I will never be a returning customer to "BLOWN AWAY HAIR SALON", they are very inexperienced hair stylist. If you do go I suggest to get an experience stylist other than Sonya. She will only damage your hair for an outrageous price, and would not care.

Valerie was awesome! She listened to what I wanted, and hooked me up with the best cut and color that I've had in years. She's super sweet and an amazing hair stylist. I'm totally going back!
