I just had an amazing practice today with Kathy Hein. What a kind and empathetic woman! Upon my arrival, she introduced herself and I explained to her that I'm going through some challenges with lower back pain and sciatica. She took the time to show me some modifications, so I could have a safe practice and wouldn't strain anything. During her class, she was constantly checking on us, making sure we were doing the correct form and not pushing ourselves more than we should (the ones with some sort of health concern). It was a gentle and very mindful practice, where I was able to listen to my body, get a great workout and relax my mind. At the beginning of the practice I was stiff and in some sort of pain. At the end, I noticed that I was able to move better and the pain was almost gone. I highly recommend hot yoga if you suffer from body aches and pains. Specifically Kathy at Blissful Spirits. A combination of heat and a great instructor can help ease some of your symptoms.

I've been doing yoga for many many years including Bikram yoga. I've been going to Blissful Spirits yoga now for a year... when I moved here .... I used to love it.However the humidifier broke and was replaced and now some of the classes the instructor has the humidity turned up so high I get so light headed I have to stop.I am not complaining about heated yoga... I like it... but lately I have been to classes where I cannot function and have to just lie there.Seriously considering switching to a different studio ...

Great spot for hot yoga (but beware, they keep it pretty hot and humid!). Purchased their introductory pass for 30 days and it was great to try a bunch of different classes (especially being new to the area and not knowing any of the teachers and/or their styles). It seemed a little cliquey at times, but then again, most yoga studios are that way until you get to know people. One of my main issues with this studio is the lack of sanskrit (but that seems to be a reoccurring theme in the area). All-in-all, it's a nice studio, with a bunch of options for different classes.

Stephanie is amazing. If you have not taken her class you are missing out. Get there early to get a spot.

I usually come here for their hot yoga and I love it! The session aren't too hot or too difficult but it does give you quite the work out. My friend lost 3 pounds after while I lost like 2 pounds. We did the session with Demi and it was worth it

Studio is OK, my biggest complaint is that both times I've been there, the music was so loud, the instructor couldn't be heard since she chooses not to use the mic. She kept scolding the class for looking around to see their neighbors, but you had to to be able to do what was asked.

Owner Melanie is very rude. I arrived to my class 5 minutes late and all the doors were locked and there was no one at the front desk. It was my first time so I didn't know that they did this, which is understandable considering safety reasons. But it did not say this on the website, so I called the other locations phone and Melanie answered and just started screaming "you're late" I asked what I should do about my class I had already paid for and she said that she can reschedule for a different one. I asked if I could just get my money back since I didn't know when I'd be able to come in again, she huffed and said "whatever text me your names and I'll move you off the list". I just don't see how the business OWNER could have such abhorrent customer service skills. I was disappointed because I was going to switch over to this studio since it's so much closer to my home, but now it just feels so hostile going over here. I will give it two more stars than I intended on giving it since I have not experienced the actual class for myself, and the website was super useful. Hope you all have a better experience than I did and that the owner Melanie finds love and happiness to fill the void that makes her so angry towards people she doesn't know. I'm praying for you Melanie!

First timer at the studio and they had a rule where they lock the doors 5 minutes prior to the class starting I had a hard time finding the place and showed up 4 minutes prior and was locked out and turned away. Not friendly for somebody who doesn't know about this rule because I had no idea.

I have tried quite a few yoga studios in town and the Blissful Spirits in Rio Rancho is my favorite. The studio is clean as is their props. They offer at the Rio Rancho studio covers for their bolsters that you can use. There is a variety of classes offered between the two studios. The owner Melanie is the best instructor for Yin Yoga hands down, in the city. Melanie is very knowledgeable regarding modifications; she is a gem. Their prices are extremely reasonable as well.

I signed up for the first time student deal ( and it's great especially just having to try it out - you can't beat this offer) and omg it was all worth it ! Kathy who greeted and showed me around who is also the instructor for the class That i signed up for made me feel very comfortable and welcomed . She was very accommodating , patient , informative , helpful, she allowed me the best possible option / options to where I should be during the class cause I am new. Her class was great and She's an Awesome instructor . Not just showing the yoga poses but actually guiding us - informing us where we need to put our weight/ balance on, how far our stance our shoulders our knees, our ankles should be. It was great! She is great! I'm already addicted . Beware: you are gonna sweat ! But it's good, cause it's the bad energy u are sweating! LolNamaste! (Anyone reading this post, don't be afraid to try anything new. Don't be afraid if your tummy shows. Don't be shy if you fall 1sec after a yoga pose - don't be shy if u don't know all the names of the poses. ( I call it poses cause the only thing I really remember is the child's pose, warrior 1, and... dog stance- I think that's what's it called lol) it's all about the journey and getting there. Don't forget change of clothes, and water !(Rio Rancho branch )
