Blackbird Coffee House

I am convinced that this is the coziest coffee shop in Albuquerque.The latte creations are delicious and amazing and have wonderful microfoam on top.The walls are decorated with local art. The tables has a million outlets to plug into. The staff are cheery.Where else would I want to get comfortable with my laptop, or have a conversation?

A small quaint gem of a place in Old Town ABQ. We went during the Cookie Crawl and the place was very busy. We were told the wait was going to be at least 10-15 minutes, but definitely waited over 40 minutes as my son and partner left me at the cafe to get more cookies. Nonetheless, the baristas were all very nice and friendly despite being super busy. My son was allowed to take a small lego toy and he was elated! Thank you.We also like their decor of RAVENS - as we're from Baltimore! They have beautiful artwork on their walls as well as their windows. They also provide several outlet towers for those needing to do work while in the cafe. We tried the Iced Road Runner & Strawberry cupcake. The Ice Road Runner was very delicious. Will definitely return for this again. It was well flavored, not too sweet. The cupcake on the other hand was overwhelmingly way too sweet, especially the icing part. The actual cake and mouse inside it was very smooth and soft. That part was well done.Would return to this cafe again when it's less busy.

Blackbird Coffee is a gem nestled in the heart of Old Town Albuquerque. This charming local shop exudes character and warmth, making it a delightful spot to grab a drink and relax. The interior is quaint and inviting, with just the right amount of seating to accommodate visitors without feeling cramped.The staff are incredibly friendly, which adds to the welcoming atmosphere. Their menu is impressive, offering not only a variety of coffee options but also an array of amazing food and pastries. For non-coffee drinkers, the selection of Italian sodas and lemonades is a thoughtful touch.We tried the Roadrunner and the Cottonwood, and both drinks were delicious and clearly crafted with care. While the wait time can be a little long--especially on busy days--this is understandable, as tea needs time to steep. Be prepared to wait up to 20 minutes during peak hours, but trust us: the experience and quality are well worth it.Blackbird Coffee has definitely won us over, and we'll happily return for more!

Cute shop in Old Town, good customer service, and tasty coffee! Loved the outdoor patio tucked away.

I wish I lived here so I could get the cottonwood every day. No joke. It's lighter than a chai latte, and so lovely if you're not feeling coffee.The ambiance is so cool! Great place to connect to free WiFi and answer emails. The blackbird theme is on point. The staff is also super sweet. I came in 5min. before close at 4:30pm, and they encouraged me to order when I asked if it was alright. The team knows their drinks, and can easily steer you in the right direction for your palate. I can't wait for my next visit!

What a lovely and creative coffee shop with decent coffee and fun drinks. I had the Blackbird which is similar to a moca but it has the addition of spicy chili dust. It's not overly hot and on a steamy day it's most refreshing. I'd love to taste this frozen like a float.....with something special added! Hint: Dutch Bliss. Nice staff. Fun coffees. What else do you need? Maybe a dispenser for water. Cheers

Unique. Delicious. New favorite.Coffee with chocolate and red chili!??!?!?! And even with the added flavors, the coffees natural flavor still comes through. a perfect blend. Themed with blackbirds all over the place with plenty of seating to sit and enjoy your new found favorite drink.

Do I recommend this place? OMG yes! This is the best place - fantastic service, great food, lovely coffee with a variety of innovative drinks. Try the croissants with hatch chili - getting hungry just thinking about it! Sit inside and work, or sit outside and enjoy the absolutely lovely courtyard while doing a little shopping at neighboring businesses!

I loved my peach matcha tea latte! The peach wasn't too overbearing to still take the matcha. I love the area it is in also. Super easy to grab coffee or breakfast and walk around old town
