Black Bird Pies

Ran into this place by accident on a late night food run for something good while visiting in town. Listen to me - change your entire foodie life and eat here. The wife is a culinary chef from Cali and the hubby is from Texas. With their sweet, passionate personalities and fantastic food it doesn't get any better than this place. We had the bbq pulled pork slider with some of the best coleslaw you will ever have. It's slightly sweet with a soft kick to it and they had banana peppers with it - my fav! Then you must have with out a doubt the pies. We had the pecan pie- eat it and be blessed. Be blessed tremendously it has got to have some sort of secret ingredient but it's amazing. Also has the sweet potato pie it's savory but then sweet. If you want to experience true foodie happiness check them out and you will NOT be disappointed!

Best pecan pie l have ever had!My boyfriend and I ordered one through the Railyards market, had it with some ( Ben and Jerry's) vanilla and it was incredible.

Holy Cow these are the best pies I've ever had! No joke, you read that right, absolutely delicious!!! My boyfriend and I went to the rail yards farmers market and saw quite a long line for these pies. The smells were amazing so we obviously had to try some! We bought the sweet potato and apple cider vinegar pie, was blown away! The crust is delicious, the flavors work very well together and the couple running the place were lovely! This woman was made to make pies and I'd gladly go back anytime!

It's all about that crust!! The owner operator of this amazing little pie truck were so kind, gracious and made me feel the love they clearly bake in each pie. The crust is a perfect combination of flaky, sweet and salty. I loved the sweet potato pie but opted for a cherry one (because it's my favorite) and was not disappointed!!
