Juicy and tasty birria sope. Bean and rice also good, sauces are free and lots of options.

I enjoyed my recent lunch at Tacos Alex. I was in the north valley and wanted some comfort food. I passed this restaurant and decided to take a shot.The restaurant itself is pretty basic. It has a good number of tables and there is a video screen for the music they play. It was clean, which is what matters most!As I reviewed the menu, I thought the prices seemed a little high. $16 for a street taco combo plate? But, once the food itself came out, I was happy to find out that the portions match the cost. My plate had four street tacos, but they were absolutely stuffed with shredded beef. The plate came with beans and rice, which were pretty good, but there was also a grilled jalapeño and grilled sweet onions. Oh man, they added a nice touch to the flavor.Tacos Alex also has a salsa bar. I tried two salsas, and they were both good. The pickled vegetables also had a nice flavor, and I ended up eating some by themselves.The young lady at the register was very sweet and the food came out fast. Not a bad place at all!

Really good tacos. And birria ramen. Lived the rice and the beans as well. A bit expensive but tacos were worth the price.

Finally decided to stop in to try the food here (the restaurant on Coors, not the truck). I'm glad I did! The staff were very friendly and kind. I ordered the #1 - 3 quesabirria tacos. At first I thought the price of $15 was high but after I received my order I realized that it was a great deal. The tacos were huge and packed with meat. I took my order to go, and the tortillas held up until I got home and ate, which is important. The chile toreado (grilled jalapeño) and onions on the side were a nice touch. The consomé was very good, too, but could have used a bit more seasoning. To be fair, though, I also add salt to my tacos, so no significant points docked there. I was also happy that the interior of the restaurant was authentic. Spanish music playing, Tijuana-themed decorations, and a salsa bar (a necessity IMHO). Overall, I am very happy I finally gave this place a try.

From food truck to restaurant! The food is so good. I can't recommend the taco plate enough. It comes with a huge portion for the price, everything is cooked authentically Mexican, specifically northern Mexican. Food is always hot, and well made, the staff are always the best and the food comes quickly.

Get in the car and get yourself a plate of these delectable tacos! We messaged their Fb page to find their current location in Los Ranchos. They're in a sunny location with tables out front. The staff are sweet and shared their recommendations. We ordered twice the amount and when we got it back to our family, they demolished everything in 15 mins. We will be back regularly!

Huge juicy cheese birriera tacos!! Absolutely delicious!! Couldn't find the food truck so we came to the restaurant. We will be back often!

This place is delicious! They are not lying when their sign says "the best birria in town"The food is incredibly fresh and so flavorful. I would definitely recommend their tacos with some salsa from their fresh salsa bar

Tacos are amazing, onions and jalapeños grilled come on the plate. The best part is they are never skimpy with the birria, you definitely feel good about spending your hard earned money there!
