Big John's BBQ

Spotted Big John's RV this week and after seeing the reviews on Yelp I decided to give him a try. Buying BBQ from this RV food truck was excitement in itself. I love cool street vendor concepts! Big John and his family who were there with him this weekend were just great. Very personable and kind. I ordered the brisket and loved it. It does come with sauce, which I really enjoyed, but you could get it without I bet. The plate was $10 with beans, potato salad and bread. Worth every penny for the food and experience! I hope to return soon! Go give this guy your lunch money!!

I have eaten here twice.. The ribs are good the brisket was drenched in BBQ sauce which was a little unappealing.. The peach cobbler was the best.. For 14 dollars with a combo and cobbler I think I would get more tasty food from a chain restaurant.. Also you could see BBQ sauce on the windows and the back window of his rv was super dirty.. He is a nice man.. But the inside of the rv looks like food poisoning waiting to happen.. He should clean up the exterior, and afraid of what the interior looks like if the exterior is dirty.. I didn't get sick though.. Did enjoy the ribs and cobbler.. And Potato Salad was good.. Don't think I will be back though.. Very unappealing when I look back on the experience

He has the best BBQ in town and nice variety of dishes that he offers.. The smell alone will make you want to stop and you will want to just dive in as soon as you get it... Meat just falls apart you will feel like your eating a piece of Heaven..This is the real deal everyone...You will go back again and again guaranteed... I gave it five stars

He is still around! I remember my mom getting his turkey legs way back when! They are just as good as I remember! Keep up the awesome work!

Great BBQ, sweet sauce, I'd give it 5 stars for a roach coach, just have exact change. Helps everyone out.

Great BBQ sandwich..And good prices.Ive ate from his food truck a few times when I can find him. Hes sometimes at in the parking lot at talin market and san mateo and Kathryn. I stop and eat most times when I can find him and need food on the go..

Big John's is awesome I was always skeptical of buying BBQ from a vendor on the side of the road but finally I stopped and glad I did. Big Johns Ribs and Turkey Legs are awesome I also enjoyed the sausage. his prices were a bit steep for a food truck but then again BBQ is never cheap.

I must have tried Big John's on an off day! The brisket was dry and chewy. More like beef jerky. The sauce was good but it was wasted on that meat. Maybe, one day, I'll try them again.

I've been going to big John's for years and I love it! He is always so nice and the food is always really great! My favorite bbq sauce for sure. I do wish they did the bbq beans still instead of regular beans, but I'm sure it's a lot to keep up with. the rib plate is definitely my go to!

Stopped by after shopping at Sam's Club on Coors by Pass yesterday afternoon. Great authentic BBQ! We had brisket and pulled pork sandwiches. We would highly recommend and hope to spot his RV again so we can try the ribs!! Great food and really nice people :)
