Big Adventure Comics

This is one of our mandatory stops for every trip to Santa Fe. My husband and I both like graphic novels, and I like graphic biographies. Big Adventure always has something we haven't read before. I just need to learn to pack fewer clothes so there's more room for books going home. And I got some good dish on one of my favorite comics from the in-the-know owner.

Solid 5 stars for selection, customer service, cleanliness of the space and overall vibe!Really friendly people in charge and a huge selection of comics as well as magic cards and DND material.They run special events almost daily and obviously care deeply about the social aspect of the games they sell.Highly recommended to shop here!

Great comic store in the railroad district. In a new spot. Lots of new and back issues. Great graphic novel selection and some local comics too. The have a gaming and magic focused store in back with magic drafts too. Nice place and staff is knowledgeable and friendly.

This place has great energy if you're into comics and/or Magic. Great selections and Kevin is the homie!

Small comic book store and it's the only one in town! We came here for free comic book day and grabbed a couple of books. Took a look around and they seemed to have a good selection of trades and current books. It was clean and organized and quite nice.

Nice folks, cool comic and game selection, and most importantly... magic cards! Tables for playing, events, etc. so you will have a nice community whether you're drafting, playing commander or whatever other format. Solid shop. Go!

Came in looking for some new reads and found some! Yay!! I love the fact I could go in and not feel that judgement of "Oh..your in for-what?" or an uncomfortable feeling. The guy behind the counter was nice and recommended me a Japanese Zombie Manga (BTW it was awesome.) I look forward on coming back to this place.

Went in to ask advise about selling a MtG collection and couldn't have been meet with a less helpful or more disinterested representative there. Hopefully they are passionate about something there, that's what comic book shops used to be about. Sad!

Formerly known as True Believer's Comics, this retail establishment has a new name and a new owner. The location is awesome (right next to Whole Foods and 4 Star Tattoo), and now is venturing into the whole gaming thing, especially Magic the Gathering... If you are a frequent buyer (like myself) and establish a pull-list, you can get a decent discount on your weekly comic book buys.It's very relaxed and all the employees are comic book fans and not just retail sales people, so you can ask questions and get knowledgeable answers. Oh, and if you are parched, they also now sell soft drinks because shopping for comic books is hard work!

As a collector and a huge fan of all things Comic...I am stoked to have a store like the BAC. They have they latest issues including awesome independent and local comics. The staff is very cool and always seem ready to help you find anything. I love hearing about about new comics and why the staff likes a particular writer or artist.
