Yoga classes in a large open studio space

Bhava Yoga is conveniently located just a few blocks from the hotel I stayed at in ABQ, so it was a pleasure to wake up this morning and take Michael's "Yoga Hour" class. The "Yoga Hour" classes are exactly that: just an hour long. They are mixed level and only $6 to attend (cash only). The class I took was at 7:30am and while it wasn't the most challenging of classes, it was a great way to start my day. It was missing music... I'm not sure if Bhava plays music in the other classes or not. Also, to note: appears that in a couple of weeks, this class will be taught by Joe and not Michael. The studio itself is clean, colorful, and inviting. They also have plenty of mats for those that don't bring their own, and props as well. The schedule of classes has some variety with yoga hour classes throughout, as well as some intermediate, fundamentals, and workshops too. I'd definitely return on a future visit to Albuquerque to practice at Bhava.

Whether you are a traveler staying in the downtown area or a local in need of a relaxing workout Bhava Yoga Studio is the place for you. You can easily book a class using the MINDBODY app or just swing by and sign up. Bhava has plenty of mats, blankets and blocks so no need to worry about bringing anything. Just wear comfy clothes and let the kind, educated instructors at Bhava take care of you.

I took my first online Zoom yoga class, All Levels with Marisol, and I loved it! The teacher's verbal clues guided me to have good alignment, build strength and stretch what I needed, and feel supported and encouraged to stay engaged the whole time. I had no idea how taking a class through an online platform can still feel connected but this teacher knows how to do it. I look forward to my next one as I will be doing this through this time of social distancing.

Awesome spacious studio with great instructors! Love that you can sign up on ClassPass or simply walk in and classes are reasonably priced. It's a nice bonus that there's warm tea available in the lobby. There's a good variety of classes available too from more relaxing and restorative to faster paced to get the heart rate up. From my experience so far this seems like one of the best yoga studios in ABQ. Will be back for sure!

I love bother yoga and have been here before. However, class pass is the biggest scam. Highly recommend the yoga studio but, do not use ClassPass! They will take your money and you will get no classes

We own another yoga (and coffee) studio in town and before we opened, this was our spot. They are super nice, well trained and the place is always clean. It's easy to get in a class and they are reasonably priced.

I am happy to have found bhava.I look forward to the happy hour classes which make yoga affordable ($6) and accessible (just 1 hour). It is a great break in the middle of the day or after work and it is the best location for me, near work and also on the way home from work. The instructors are challenging but it's all over in an hour! Studio is clean, appreciate having 2 bathrooms, always space for my mat but usually a large class.wish they had something to wipe the mats down with.

Class with Jesilyn was amazing. I was in town just for a quick trip, and it was a short easy walk from the Parq Central Hotel. As a new student, your yoga class includes a complimentary mat, which made it easy as a traveler. And the class itself was such a lovely flow that was refreshing as a long term practitioner and just the right amount of challenge for my sis who is inexperienced. I'd definitely go back next time in Albuquerque.

I'm traveling across country and chose Bhava in Albuquerque. I'm glad I did! I took Marisol's intermediate class, and it was a great choice. The room was small, without mirrors (which I LOVE). Marisol's energy was so bright and warm. She expressed an interest in me and my practice, and was very encouraging to everyone throughout class. She takes the instruction where the class wants to go, and they decided to work on full splits. Although I can't do a full split (my excuse is that I'm a guy) her encouragement gave me the confidence to attempt it deeper than I ever have. I would go back in a second. The whole space had a great vibe.

One of my favorite yoga studios I've ever attended. All the classes instructors and staff are welcoming and wonderful and a good variety of classes-- I especially love the longer restorative classes once a month ! I love this studio and recommend to all my friends.
