Benchmark Wood Floors

I cannot say enough good things about my floors or this company! I hope more people review them.Our hardwood floors in the kitchen got destroyed by a leaking valve behind our refrigerator. The floors in the kitchen had to be torn up and matched to the floors in the living room and dining room, as they were all in the "line of sight". The existing floors are 20 years old and quite worn. The new floor boards were laid in the kitchen, and ALL the floors had to be sanded and stained to match.I defy anyone to come into my house and tell me where the new floors end and where the old floors start. They literally did a perfect job. No one can tell the difference.We love the color. We have natural American cherry, and it is hard to work with because it changes color so much as it ages. Yes, the old and the new look exactly the same. And they are gorgeous!Everyone at the company is very professional and easy to deal with. Kevin, the owner is an amazing guy and stands behind his product and his employees. He called during the process to make sure we were happy. In the end, there was one mistake made, as some grout in a transition spot from the kitchen floor to the tile in the laundry room got missed. As soon as I called him, he apologized, took responsibility and had someone out to fix it. Great customer service. Not to mention, they finished early! How often does that happen when you are having work done on your home?HIGHLY recommend this company. Pricing was very competitive. Cheaper than other estimates I got.

We live in a house that has floors that were originally laid in the 40s. We had some staining that had been there since we moved in and some gaps that had been filled and the filler was coming out. Benchmark came out took the wood out where the gaps were located and salvaged what wood they could. They then relaid the area mixing new wood and salvaged wood. Once that was done, they sanded everything down, restrained and polyurethaned the area. We did two rooms and a hall that abutted two other rooms that we did but do. The color match was spot on. The floors are absolutely beautiful. Communication between Kevin and his team was great. We could not be happier with the result. You may have to wait awhile between the time the work is quoted and when it starts because of how busy they are. They keep you in the loop with start times so you are aware of how long it will be before the team starts. Highly recommend and would definitely use in the future is we decide to do additional spaces. Thank you! I couldn't be happier with our results. I just wish I had taken before pictures. We had 1500 SQFT of hardwood floors sanded and finished and we couldn't be happier. They did an amazing job and were happy to come back and touch up a few minor issues. They did a great job with dust collection and their crew was professional and friendly.
