I enjoyed coming to Bedrock Kitchen, we showed up without knowing that it was a grab-and-go place, but it was nice. There was music on the patio which was wonderful on a Friday afternoon. They have complimentary drinks which include water and tea, they carry local items and meats along with make sure to have gluten free and diabetic friendly menu. One thing that I think could make it better is having the option to get items no grab-and-go and have composting on-site, recyling, etc. Their menu changes based on the season and I hope that they continue to thrive.

i've seen this restaurant a couple times driving by. The area has a lot of fast food places, and other than teriyaki chicken bowl doesn't have a lot of good choice options. It is so nice to see a place in the area that offers some good options. I walked in today and I guess they were having some difficulty with their staff, because they didn't have the hot food. That did not deter me though. The woman was incredibly helpful, and she showed me where the cold food options were. They also had some soups available. I got the Thai chicken, coconut soup, and one of their salads. Their homemade ranch dressing is really tasty, and their green goddess dressing is very good too. The Thai coconut soup is very good, I definitely recommend.

Finally a spot to quench my cravings for clean cuisine! It's a 'grab n go' concept so you won't have to wait long for your food. My favorites are the carrot soup, chicken tenders and the vegan spring roll. (Pictured) They also bottle up the Goddess Dressing. And of course, the folks there are welcoming.

Today was my first visit and sampling of a few items: The vegan Green Goddess salad at $9.99 and a small container of hummus for $6.99.The greens were exquisite and so fresh I could almost see them being picked. The hummus was very tasty in spite of an unexpected full clove of garlic that I bit down on and ate before realizing what I'd eaten.Bedrock Kitchen is a bit of a tough sell. It's not a great location, its exterior appearance ( and I am a Frida Kahlo aficionado) belies the attractive, temptingly clean and minimalist interior, and the prices are just a little off .For the most part, I'd say taking a $dollar off everything - and maybe $1.50 on the higher priced items could turn a single visitor into a repeat customer. In the interest of transparency, this visit was made during a heatwave. However, I doubt a patio right next to the 4th Street traffic will ever be appealing. I'd sacrifice the western side of the parking lot for that.In summary, the food deservedly takes center stage. It looks very fresh and delicious. With a bit of tweaking, I hope Bedrock Cafe can attract the market seeking out this type of food: healthy, beautifully prepared and divine. Toning down a few walls outside (not all) and some minor price adjustments could make a big difference.

If you're looking for some vegan food this restaurant has several options. The are geared for grab and go prepackaged items but there are two bar stools for dining in and there are several picnic tables outside on a patio. They have a cooler full of vegan options and also two daily hot options on a counter, one for breakfast and one for lunch. I had the Vegan Stacked Taco Salad from the cooler. It's basically quinoa, black beans, lettuce and numerous other ingredients in a plastic container. It cost $10.99 and was very good.

Healthy Yummy Food! For those of us who care about growing old, every single thing in this place is voluptuously delicious without being unhealthy. Local, organic and yummy vegan, vegetarian and meal dishes all for GRAB AND GO if you don't want to picnic table out front. Prices are fair for high quality. Don't forget the amazing daily choice of 3 soups!!!

A new innovative approach - The Bedrock Kitchen on 4th just South of Mantaño- You go in and there is a basic display of six dishes ; they all look healthy and come to find out they ARE. There is some perfecting to do however; you go in and choose the dish you want and there are more of the same made up in the cooler - 2- you choose to take out or microwave and eat right there. You pay with a credit card - NOW THAT IS A MUST BECAUSE THEY DONT AND WON't take CASH - ANOTHER thing I would change; this makes it hard to use cash -( my pref ). Anyway , the quality of the food is excellent and I encourage you trying it out !! PS - I took mine outside and soon decided to leave because the atmosphere sitting next to the fourth street traffic was not great . The wind blew a bunch of my paper stuff away as well . When THEY BEGIN TO TAKE CASH I WILL RETURN!! I am not going to enable a gov't stuck on controlling us to succeed in taking my cash away and replacing it w something else !!!!GO BRANDON ‼

My hubby and I made plans to dine at this particular restaurant for lunch today and it was a delicious experience. We tried the Green Goddess salad, vegan mac and cheese, vegan 'clam' chowder and each selection was outstanding. The staff is very friendly and we personally thanked Sophie, the chef letting her know just how good the food is. No doubt, we'll be back...only challenge is to narrow down what we'll try next! Highly recommended!

So excited to have a new locally sourced grab-and-go restaurant in the 4th and Montano area. The owner was very welcoming and super knowledgable about the ingredients. The restaurant is clean and well organized. The price of the food was higher than some of the nearby drive-thrus, but I ultimately felt better about paying for the quality and supporting local farmers/ranchers and products (plus, I did't feel drowsy or bloated from the delish food). I'd say it compares to Whole Foods in terms of price.I really enjoyed every bite. The stuffed bell pepper is filling and savory (meat option), and the vegan taco salad is surprisingly balanced for being meat and dairy free. I shared a bite of the bell pepper with my boyfriend and he said the only thing he would add would be a pinch of salt (easy enough!). Overall, I'm impressed with Bedrock Kitchen. I'll definitely be going back, and I highly recommend it.
