Im not a very musical kind of person.. as a lot of my friends That have gigs with very well known bands. Very nice family ran store. Pretty nice selection and I learned a thing or two. So funky commadina...um,,um..um....

Had to get a shoulder rest for the kiddo's violin. We have also had it restrung here. I love the service. Curtis is so helpful! The location is great for me. Many a moon ago we have also have a flute cleaned and serviced here. They know what they're doing.

I adore this place. i have been a client for about ten years. I place my full trust on these people when it comes to repairs on my instrument. It is worth the hour drive from my home down in Valencia county.

I've been in Baum's a lot lately because my daughter is starting to play guitar. Every time I go in I'm treated nicely and always get what I came for. Except once he didn't have a book but quickly told me where I could find it. Baum's is close to my house, super convenient and friendly, knowledgable service.

Good selection of reeds and a decent selection of saxophone mouthpieces. Nice store and even a few vintage horns on hand.

This place is awesome! I love coming to this store I love the costumer service! Everyone is super nice! They are very knowledgeable and know what they are talking about when it comes to instruments! When comes to repairs the are state of the art! They can fix and repair just about anything and do it in a reasonable amount of time, you can't rush good work! The are over all and arguably the best music store in town!

On a Saturday afternoon I was the only customer in the store. I asked about piano books. Was the person to help me a piano player to help with my questions? No. Would she ask any of the other employees who knew the topic to help me? No. I picked a book. Asked about the learning cd for the songs as listed in the book. CD? No. I was told all the songs were on the publishers web site. Were they? No.Will I ever go back? NO.

Baums goes above and beyond.2 years ago I brought my (tuba) horn in for a cleaning, and due to my own mis scheduling it was very close to auditions, and a busy time of year for them. They got my horn to me in time.Today I picked up my horn from another cleaning and some dent removal and am more than happy with the results. I brought my horn in on a Wednesday, and they had it ready on Friday! The main dent pulls look great, and they even helped me get some niks out of the bell from mouthpiece drops, purely aesthetic. Not only do they have reasonable prices for cleaning and fixing a horn of this size, they also replaced my valve pads and spit valve corks for me, no extra charge. Even looks like it's been polished a bit!I appreciate your work, and we're lucky to have you in Albuquerque. *I post this in my own volition, because the customer service and work is exemplary.
