This was my first visit to Barrio Brinery and I couldn't be happier. I ate a pickle as soon as I got home - so crunchy and delicious! I love the caraway in the kraut. I appreciate that I can have an order ready for me to pick up or that they will bring it out to the car. I plan to go back next week for kimchi. I'm so glad I finally stopped by after passing it for years. I hope more folks check out and support this small business.

I'm usually pretty happy with the products I get here, but about two weekends ago I bought a couple containers and a week later they were rotten. Kinda peeved about that.Other than that, their sauerkraut is some of the best I've had ever, and usually their half sours are pretty darn good (when they're not rotten). Tough to find good pickles in NM.

If you appreciate the benefits of healthy, naturally fermented foods that taste wonderful, then you'll love their pickles. And they are a locally owned business!

Yummy pickles (made without vinegar?! What!!), and a super friendly and knowledgeable owner/briner. The sauerkraut is also amazing. Anything the say is spicy is definitely SPICY! In a good way, but there's no mild. They were super kid friendly and wanted the kiddos to try everything and we took our pic with the giant pickle. We left with a big bag of fermented foods and our guts are still thanking us for the probiotics.

I visited this place while on a trip to Santa Fe. We tried pretty much all of the pickle options they had available at the time and they were all phenomenal. I went looking for their website as I was seriously wishing there was a way for me to order and have their pickles shipped to me. I dream of returning to Santa Fe again and leaving with a suitcase full of pickles. My top pick was the garlic ones so amazing.

Tried several samples at Barrio Brinery before deciding to go with Fermented Escabeche, mmmmm. So good. Just the right combination of seasoning; no overwhelming of any ingredients yet still appreciating the taste and texture of carrots, onions, jalapeños, garlic, peppercorns and oregano. Good job Pat and Evette!See y'all again soon

My love for pickles is out of this world and if you even slightly like pickles I highly recommend coming to this place. As soon as we entered, the owner (I wish I remembered his name) was so welcoming and as excited about pickles as I am. He had samples ready and displayed for us to taste. Honestly there wasn't one that I didn't absolutely love which made it hard to pick which ones to take home. He was extremely knowledgeable about the process, the ingredients to each fermentation, and passionate about each kind of pickle (and jalapeño) he made. I learned so much as well as carried a great conversation about all things pickle. Thank you for a fun experience and I wish we had him and his art of pickles in Austin. We will be back! Pickle juice cheers!

The pickles are fun, the staff is knowledgeable and engaging! They helped me navigate my first visit with fun and ease! Came home with sauerkraut and half-sour pickles, which I was almost too afraid to try! But they are so yummy and delicious! You can taste the cucumber in them still! Nomnomnom!

This is the place to find half-sour pickles that really taste the way a pickles should. They have a fresh taste and a good garlicky feel. The other items there escobeche, hot and sweet, are also good--not quite as outstanding.Service is friendly and excellent.
