Baja Tacos

No-meat breakfast burritos are tasty, filling, and a good price. Perfect carryout option when you're hungry, in a rush, or trying to feed a bridal party on wedding day. Cannot recommend the bacon roll. Slices were more fat than bacon.

This was my third time trying this place. Strike three. I ordered a carnitas burrito. Either they do not know how to make carnitas or they served me shredded brisket. Either way the meat was mushy and soggy, as if just left in its own grease all day. That is great for the locals that have lost their teeth, but disgusting for anyone else. The only flavor was of grease and mush. They did not drain it well, so the soggy grease water ran out of the bland mush bomb's foil wrapping, through the bag, and onto my car's seat. Next time I will drive farther and go to Burritos La Fe or El Chile Torreado where they have comida with flavor and pride.

Love this place. I have had the breakfast burrito, tacos and frito pie. They are all good and reasonably priced. The breakfast burrito is one of my favorites in Santa Fe for this price. .

So while this place looks SUPER SKETCHY from the outside, the food was BOMB.My husband and I were looking for a quick lunch to take back to our hotel while we relaxed and this place was just the ticket.The inside is sparsely decorated and there wasn't anyone inside eating. The menu is also pretty basic, but that's okay! We spent I think $14 on two burritos and they were stuffed!!!I got a shredded beef smothered burrito with green chili and my husband got a chicken burrito with green chilis. Both were excellent! Little hidden gem- but no frills.

Note that the address is 2018 Cerrillos and not the one listed. Nothing fancy but good food. I had the chicken taco and a tilapia taco and hubby ordered the beef burrito with green salsa. Staff are masked and very friendly. The food arrived quickly. Both tacos were very good and come with red salsa. The fish was fried unlike most that will be deep fried. The chicken was moist. I did prefer the chicken taco. Hubby enjoyed and ate all his beef burrito. He said the salsa was just right; any hotter would not be good. Good eats! Parking lot.

I went through the drive through today - shredded beef tacos and some chips/salsa. The salsa was ok. Don't bother with the tacos - no flavor - just boiled beef in a shell with tiny bit of cilantro and diced onion. $18.20 - sadly Taco Bell is better. The service window employee was very sweet and the food was ready in a jiffy.

Tried this place out after seeing a post about their green chile cheese fries on social media. I ordered the green chile cheese fries, beef and chicken taquitos and two beef tacos. The fries were good but not exceptional, tacos and taquitos were both good. I went back once more to try the breakfast burritos and those were nice and big and really tasty.

Over priced and the order I placed was not the order I received. The food was not cooked all the way through. One and done!

I love food that has plenty of lettuce tomatoes and onions. Everything always tastes super fresh. I don't think I could make this same food at home without it being more expensive and time consuming. We are lucky to have a restaurant with great food that doesn't break the bank!

I rarely write negative reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience at Baja Taco. I visited with high hopes, but unfortunately the burger I had ordered was completely below par compared to an average cheeseburger. The burger looked kinda appetizing and tasted okay initially, but a few hours later, I was hit with intense stomach cramps and nausea. It was definitely food poisoning; it was the only thing I had eaten that day. I spent the night in misery, and I can't help but attribute it to that burger. I've had great experiences at Baja Taco in the past, but this incident has left me hesitant to return. I hope they improve their food safety because I really wanted to enjoy my meal.
