Baca House Brewery

Stopped in because I haven't had their beer. It's good for the water issues they have in Socorro. This building was where I gained a love of craft beer when it was Socorro Springs. The service was friendly and I was the only customer in the restaurant when I drank my sampler. I got a tour of the brewery and it's a smaller brewhouse, but they can make lagers.

Brewery was clean and not busy. A table of 9,2 and us. So service was great. The menu is very limited and there are no burgers as Yelp headlines. Pizza is only one size-10 inches. No ham as a choice but there is spam. Not that we ventured out for. Beer was good.

Pizza was very good and soft crust. Toppings were the "favorite" version or something like that and all good sausage, peppers, mushrooms. Service was just a little slow due to one gal doing it all. Pizza came quickly almost at same as time as my flight. Flight was slow cause I had the stout in the mix which pours like syrup but it didn't seem that thick to me and not a favorite. Liked the pale best. Wit was good. Red was not a robust or flavorful as I expected. So the pizza was a hit but the beers were hit and miss for me personally. For sure would not hesitate to come here again and thinking about 2 nights in a row. Service was good. Ambiance was ok. Would not want to be here when busy cause I think it would be noisy.

Passing through Socorro, I turned to Yelp for recommendation. Despite the small number of reviews, this place proved really good. I had two of the beers on tap and the IPA was among the best I've ever had. I was disappointed they only had three on tap, but I wasn't going to drink them all. Dinner was fish tacos which were made to perfection. Great music on the speakers. Wish more people were hanging out!

The beer was great and the fire oven pizza was spectacular. Brought a large group that was accommodated perfectly. The beer server was exceptional. The Mirehaven Craft Beer Group.

This place was amazing the chicken wings, the mozzarella sticks, the beers, the service and the owner. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I don't travel to Socorro very often, but I am counting the days until I return to come back here. I cannot recommend it enough.

We went for dinner, most of the beers were out leaving only a couple to choose from. The food was good- wings were the best. Pork loins were good as well.

Fish and Chips rock..the staff was very friendly..a must try. Cozy and the history of this place is awesome..

Yummy, good service, unique menu items -- all delicious. Cosy, homey, even unique hours. Fine wood-fired personal pizzas. Excellent fish tacos. Amazing, gourmet pork rinds (of all things!). Wonderful, much-loved historic building and grand patio -- a short block off the town Plaza and within sight. Parking a'plenty or an easy walk from nearly everywhere in Socorro. Within a couple of blocks from the cinema, Post Office, Library, historic church, Courthouse, municipal gym and historic homes district. But the draw is good food from good chefs!
