When I started at AR, I definitely did not know what i was doing, but the trainers that worked with me showed me how to properly execute exercises. The methods they use are ground-based, multi-joint, multi-planar functional movement that have improved my overall strength and increased my understanding how the body actually moves. Coach Roman, Rob, and Jaci (and previously Devyn when i first joined) are the best and I truly appreciate the level of dedication and guidance that I get here from them. And a bonus is the sense of community that I get, which is what keeps me around.

Are you serious about your health? Do you enjoy being physically active? Is the future of your joint health a priority? Has an injury or limited range of motion prevented you from achieving peak performance? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then Athlete Ready is here for you. There's only one catch. You need to be ready to be confronted with unlearning and relearning a lot of what you thought you already knew. Why? Because Athlete Ready invests the time to learn (and instill in you) the fine details of motor skills, bodily positioning, proprioception, and much much more. Their goal is to see you achieve your fitness goals, whatever they may ultimately be, and to ensure you know how to achieve them without having to return to them in the future.I, personally, was referred to Athlete Ready by the good folks over at Elite OSM, whom I'd been going to for many years. Specifically, coach Roman (alongside coaches Veronica and Rob) have really stepped up the game for me in terms of bodily awareness and injury prevention - two things I have struggled with a lot in my life.I had been told by a few folks in the healthcare field to abandon physical fitness forever, as I was doomed to experience repetitive injuries - that it was not worth it. Instead, I opted for Athlete Ready - one year later and I couldn't be happier with my decision. Plus, the camaraderie and accountability holding is top notch!

My son is 6 years old and I started him in Athlete Ready's youth classes this year. I signed him up in hopes that he'd learn and improve in the fundamentals of strength and conditioning. Not only has Athlete Ready blown my expectations out of the water with what they've taught him thus far, but they've also built an environment where they hold him accountable and ensure that he's soaking in the instruction that's being provided. I also love the fact that he's surrounded by his peers, which makes for a competitive and fun environment. I would recommend Athlete Ready to anyone at any age looking to improve their strength and conditioning.

Athlete ready is the gold standard of personal performance whether you are a professional trying to hone your skills or the everyday warrior looking for a catalyst to improve your workout or even change your life?My hobby is obstacle course endurance racing. I am 60 years old and I've been doing this for about eight years. I came to Roman five weeks before my annual 24 hour event looking for something to give me an edge. My body has taken a beating over the years. I have three tears in my right rotator cuff and problems etched bicep. I told Roman that I know it was late in the game, but I needed to do more to get my mind and body Wrapped around the event. I also didn't want to be treated like my age nor as an invalid just trying to get by.Roman developed a program for me with a focus far different than I have ever experienced from Trainer or Coach. Not only did he improve my strength, even in spite of my injuries, but he improved my farm style and strategy. He is a master of the mind-body connection And translating that into a program to transform anyone that is willing to work to be transformed. You have to be willing to do the work yourself... Just like anything else. He taught me things about both my workout and my running that were game changing. In five weeks I was not only able to improve my strength and even gain muscle mass, but my mind body awareness allowed me to push myself further. When I sit out on the 24 hour obstacle course, my head was dialed in and I said a personal record for the first 12 hours. I kept repeating to myself, the wisdom that Roman taught me giving every muscle a job. Five hours into the race my right shoulder started talking to me and talking loud. I started focusing on full body form that I was taught and was able to finish the race even with the shoulder. It's possible that their process is not for everybody. Frankly, it should be if you're willing to relearn Some of the bad habits that fitness narratives give us.The whole staff at Ashley already is great. I even worked with the in-house massage therapist, Rob, who got my shoulder, flexible enough and with the range of motion to survive the event.Healthy, living, strength, endurance and aging are often about mobility. That word woman nothing to you until you commit rob their program and have your mind blown.Therein lies the keyword... "Commit""
