I've been to many Chiro's over the years. Derek is my best! I like that he uses kinesiology because I can see the weakness with my own eyes. I'd certainly recommend him.

I was in such pain I couldn't walk. I had asked my neighbors if anyone knew of a good chiropractor. They told me about Dr. Atchley. So I called and made my appointment. From the moment I walked in, till the time I left, I felt very comfortable. Everyone from the front desk to Dr. Atchley, we're all very nice. Dr. Atchley took his time to explain what he was doing. Needless to say, I walked out of there a LOT better then I did coming in! I've been seeing him ever since and wouldn't change a thing. What a difference he's made to me. I HIGHLY recommend him if your having back pain.

There's not a better Chiropractic company in New Mexico or the country then Atchley Family Chiropractor.I want to personally want to thank all the staff for always being accommodating professional polite and courteous every time I come in for maintenance .Happy holidays and see you in 2023 ​​

I really liked Derek atchley because of his knowledge and his thoroughness, but it was my very first appointment and they didn't even adjust me. This upset me a lot because I live all the way across town from this office and now I have to wait another week to be adjusted because he wants to review x-rays. I really would have preferred to be adjusted or to be notified before my appointment that I would not be adjusted today because I just spent 45 minutes in that office and I am still in pain and have to wait another week.

Feel wonderful after every treatment! Dr Lymon is fabulous! My back and neck pain is almost completely gone. Looking forward to erasing it altogether.Kimberly Sanchez

I went into the office to take a look around and then to book an appt. The receptionist told me about the new patient paperwork. I told her that I would do it online, and I did. Page after page after page. I even gave them my SS# -- very reluctantly. **At the very end of the paperwork, there is a list of charges for the first visit. At worst, the charges total $610. At best, the charges are still over $300. The options are cash, check or credit card.** smh FIRST time I have seen this. //// I had just assumed that it would be like other chiropractors' offices: pay your copay (mine is currently $25), and that's that. In fact, the chiropractor who I saw for years and who recently retired -- it was that way for him, and he recommended Atchley. //// I can afford to pay the initial fees, but I'm not going to. (I am trying to cancel my appointment -- but all I get is VM and I'm not getting a return call.) The fact that this office was not at all 'up front' about initial fees -- I consider it VERY dishonest. And if you read "the owner" response to other bad reviews, I'm sure I'm going to get "the owner" response to my post that states that somehow this is all my fault and/or I'm being unreasonable. smh Yeah, right. AC IS DISHONEST. To be clear:my only real problem is that AC was not at all upfront with the hundreds of dollars that would be charged at the first visit. Prospective patients need to be told about FEES FIRST THING. smh

Dr. Atchley is a proven reliever of pain, no matter what alignment issue you have. The staff are super friendly!

I would literally give them 10 stars if I could!!! I thought I needed hip surgery, I'm 58, I was in so much pain and went, reluctantly, as a last resort to surgery. 1 month later I am seeing results, way less pain, not taking over the counter meds daily anymore and I feel better every time I walk out of the office. Dr. Atchley is kind and warm and clearly believes in what he does, their staff is over the top lovely and welcoming and considerate. It exceeds any and all expectations I had. They take the time to assess your needs, including X-rays and consultations before they start a plan. I saw that someone was upset about not being adjusted the first time, I was surprised as well, but then realized, on my second visit, after Dr. Atchley talked to me about my X-rays and his thoughts, and then had my first adjustment, it was clear they make sure the plan they put you on is specialized and based on what's best for each individual. I look forward to going and can attest that Dr. Atchley knows how to help people, in chronic pain, feel relief and start living again. I have more energy, my active hours in a day have doubled, and my sleep has become deep and uninterrupted again. Some days I still am in agony, but as he explained, it's like peeling layers on an onion, and every layer brings relief. And he finds those layers and brings relief. If you are in chronic pain and he thinks he can help, he can.
