Asbury Cafe At the Fair

Amazing pie, great service! Consistent on both levels. It's the thing I look forward to the most at the fair. A calorie cheat I will smile about later as I work the pie & ice cream off. Soooo worth it. You'll won't feel guilty supporting this great cause

The Asbury Cafe is one of the highlights of the New Mexico State Fair. It's a collaborative effort of Asbury United Methodist Church and a number of other local churches, and they sell a wide variety of delicious pies to raise money for charities that feed people. I tried a piece of raspberry rhubarb a la mode that was excellent - a wonderful mixture of tart and sweet with a superb, flaky crust. When you go to the fair, be sure to stop at the Asbury Cafe. Make your tummy happy and help others in need!

What can I say, the pie is delicious, consistent and always my go to at the fair. You can't go wrong, just go early before the favorites are sold out.

A wonderful tradition at the fair that has marvelous food especially the famous pies. Also the gift to the community with donated proceeds.
