Archuleta Restoration and Remodel

Archuleta was hired to manage a water leak situation at my house which occurred in May 2023. They responded quickly which I thank them for. The brick floor was lifted and the kitchen was dismantled. When the floor and cabinets were reinstalled without attention to the detail in which they were originally assembled by a master craftsman, many things had to be corrected or couldn't be corrected. The brick floor was put back so sloppily that I had to ask to have it redone. They would not do it again and instead replaced bricks that were chipped (by them when they were being removed) and attempted to fill resulting gaps with new and completely mismatched bricks. The final attempt after I didn't accept their "patches" multiple times was made in November 2023 and this is what I ended up with as shown in the photos.I was offered a $2000 reduction in the cost and the invoice stated "This invoice is the agreed to amount with homeowner due to improper installation of brick flooring." They say it was a bad installation but would not replace it or fix it with matching bricks. I will end up using the $2000 to replace the floor with a capable and conscientious company in the near future.My house is historic and I was assured that attention to detail would be a top priority (i.e. matching the old bricks, re-installing tiles and cupboards to their original state). I feel that I was lied to and ended up with inferior work. In the end, they wore me out and I took their offer to reduce the price of the work so I could move on. If you care about having a job well done, please look elsewhere.

Archuleta restoration helped me out tremendously during our time of need. Our house was completely flooded and they restored my home to its pre-damage condition. Will definitely recommend them to family and friends!

We had work done by Archuleta Restoration and Remodel almost a year ago on our new house and I was, and still am disappointed. First, they put in a hatch for our attic, but then when we requested insulation they filled the whole attic space with blown in insulation. So now we have this hatch that we can't use because every time you open it, insulation falls out. Not to mention, the hatch doesn't look professionally done. There are spaces, it needs trim. Also, they overcharged us almost a 1000 dollars for the insulation. If I had not been around and paying attention to the actual insulation being done, not only in our attic, but in the rest of the house we would have wrongfully paid more. Third, they were incredibly messy. We constantly had to ask for them to clean up after themselves. We are still finding spots of spackle from when they did the drywall. They did not cover the appliances and cupboards well. Not only were they messy but they removed good trim and did not put it back. I wish we hadn't had gone with them. Admittedly, we were and are amateurs at remodeling, we were looking for guidance and professionalism. We did not get that from Archuleta Restoration and Remodel. I would not recommend them.

I hired this company to do a flood restoration job which I was told by Mark one of the owners that they do,and that they where on the list to do work for my insurance company. In a matter of hours he had a crew of 5 at my house running fans and dehumidifiers and ripping out walls and carpet for the next couple of days. To make a very long story short they put my wife's cloths that where on hangers in trash bags, mixed wet clothes with dry clothes in bags(ruin with mold), and wet with dry bed linens in bags(ruin with mold), after several call about going thru my contents in the 20' containers that also had the wet and dry furniture and carpets mixed together. After almost waiting 3 weeks and me calling and bugging Mark finally sends another company over to do the job but only does the the cleaning and dry cleaning and all the deposing of some of my wife's clothes and linens and the rest of the damage good that where mixed in trash bags. Even if you have to wait you will be better off. I will never ever recommend this company! I wish I could give negative stars.
