I've been happy getting my mower serviced here, but now when I drive past this business it always looks closed. Call first.

So I ended up selling the saw as it was leaking fuel. It wasn't leaking before.

I have been doing business with the Aragons for almost 20 years. They are veteran-owned, honest and hard-working. My first experience was when we bought a cord of wood. When they delivered it, I realized what a "real" cord of wood is supposed to be. I had been short-changed my whole life and never knew it. They keep my lawn mowers and chain saws in tip-top shape. Great business experience!

Although the service work provided is generally excellent, be forewarned that the owner is very very grumpy. Just take some deep breaths.

I wish I could give less than 1 star. I've used this business for 4 years, several times things were not fixed after several weeks of keeping it. But when I brought it back they fixed it. I felt after 4 years and lawn mowers, weed eaters, chain saws, literally hundreds of dollars spent, and the "Rapport" I felt I had built with the Vet owner, it was worth the wait. But after 3 weeks of having my mower when it was finished IT would run only on low speed, it barely cut. I took it back and owner would not finish the botched repair without a receipt. I was in the computer and he knows me. However he claimed he must have the techs name, available only on the receipt. He Would not make the botched repair good, no honor, no customer service, rude, RIP OFF . Will NEVER USE THEM AGAIN

If all the other bad reviews were not enough to keep you away, here is another one. I took my dads old chainsaw in for repairs. I was told 3-4 weeks was the wait time. I was okay with the time and left the saw with them. I was contacted after about 5 weeks that they were unable to fix the chainsaw due to the age. It is about 40 years old. I went to pick it up and I was handed a bill for almost $50.00 to "diagnose" the problem. I was told I need to pay the bill before they would retrieve the saw. I thought $50.00 to tell me it was too old was excessive but I had to pay to get the saw back. I immediately saw why when they brought it out. They literally handed me the saw back in a bag. Totally disassembled and a jumble of parts. I told them that was unacceptable and I wanted it put back together, like I they got it originally. The owner told me I would need to pay an hour labor for reassembly and wait another 4-5 weeks. I would not do that, and took the saw home with me. I let the saw sit in the garage for almost a year before I decided to take it to another place. Unfortunately Aragons had used some kind of solvent on the parts and some had rotted and some of the paint was peeling. Anyhow I took it to a place on 4th street and the guy at the front desk could not have been more helpful. He said it was a great older Stihl and said he thought they could bring it back to life. I left it with them and they said it would be about a week before they could get to it and would call me with an update. Well, only 3 days later they called me and said they were able to fix the saw with a few parts that were about $30.00 and one hour of labor. I went the next day to pick it up and they had it all put back together, running, clean and the chain sharpened. Under $100 to fix this chainsaw. The guy at the front told me it was a great saw and he was a collector of older saws. He offered me a substantial amount of money for the saw. I declined as it was my dads saw and I wanted to keep it for sentimental reasons. He said his offer stands whenever I am ready to sell it. So had I trusted the fools at Aragons I would have thrown the saw in the trash because that is what they told me and they even put it in a bag like it was trash. Taking it to a real repair shop with people who knew what they are doing was what I should have done to begin with. So I beg of you do not take anything to Aragons. They will treat your items and you as a customer like trash. This place deserves to go out of business. I drive by on my way home sometimes praying I see the place boarded up forever. I hope the Aragons who may be good people, finally accept that they are terrible business owners and retire before they rip off anyone else.

Literally the WORST place I have ever been to. Worst customer service, worst parts and service department, even the owner lied about the work I requested. I will never go back and I would advise you to take your equipment somewhere else. I took a chainsaw in for some minor repairs, tuneup and replacement plastic cover, on September 09. Didn't get it back until I demanded it back on November 04. Even then it wasn't fixed. Every time I would call or stop in to ask about it, they would say "Oh two weeks". They lie and cheat and put other peoples work in front of yours. Even treat you like a bunch of racist bigots. FIND SOME PLACE ELSE TO GO !!!!

Took my electric lawn mower in at the end of March. Still not worked on as of May 10th. If you have lots of time, might be ok but I think over a month and half when they told me would be a week and a half is ridiculous. I'm sure there are other places that are better. They weren't particularly customer friendly either. Pass on this one.

I was a returning customer to Mr. Aragon's but unfortunately will now be looking for a new business to have my lawnmower serviced. On March 5th, I took my lawnmower in to have it serviced. A routine sharpening as my last time taking it to Mr. Aragon was two years ago. I have a grass catcher and asked him to put it on while he was servicing it which he did. I was able to pick it up on March 25th. Mr. Aragon made normal customer conversation until he said, "I don't want you to think I'm trying to touch your breast," but he touches my shirt and proceeds to comment on the schools logo I was wearing. It made me uncomfortable, but I just brushed it off. He helped load it into my car, rolling it backwards properly. Once I brought it home I noticed it wasn't working correctly. I tried different heights but it was not cutting my grass. It was instead, tearing my grass. On May 15th, I was able to return to Mr Aragon and his wife to explain my concerns. I thought maybe the handle was placed incorrectly and voiced that. Mr. Aragon was getting upset, aggravated, and was raising his voice. He eventually said he could change it for me if I wanted, but I declined and agreed that if that's how the handle is supposed to be that's fine. I was just trying to figure out why it would not cut. He let me know to fix why it wouldn't cut would just be an adjustment and that I could pick it up the next day. Today, May 16th, I received a call around 12:30 saying that my lawnmower was finished and I could pick it up. I arrived around 2:00, I saw my lawn mower, but my grass catcher was detached. His granddaughter was helping me this time and asked him about attaching the grass catcher. He looks at her and responded, "well she didn't ask me to." I assumed it would be in better condition and in one piece then when I left it. He again was angry and said, "I'm walking away from this I can't do this now." I apologized to his granddaughter for him acting that way. He said he Would come back to it in about 15 minutes, but I decided to leave since he was riled up. I noticed I wasn't able to roll it backwards anymore and that something was wrong with the wheel but just wanted to leave ASAP because of how uncomfortable this all had been. I left and was starting to put my lawnmower in the car when he comes out and says, "here I can do it now, I can do it." I responded, "no that's all right, but I am going to call Better Business Bureau." Mr. Aragon says, "why are you calling Better Business Bureau? I didn't even charge you?" I responded that there isn't a charge because I was bringing it back since it wasn't working correctly. He raised his voice and starts yelling at me saying, "he's so sick and tired of everybody getting after him, why are you getting after me, he didn't even charge me!?" And proceeds to say, "f*ck you go ahead and call the Better Business Bureau." I stood there with my mouth open, shocked that he's talking to me like this. He turns and walks away and says again, "f*ck you! Do what you want!" and walked back in the building. I got home and tried to get the wheels to work properly but noticed they are unbalanced and bent. I understand that small, family businesses (rightfully so) are under stress, and things are out of the norm due to COVID-19, but regardless you cannot treat customers so poorly. Especially those that return to support you. It was horrible hearing from the owner himself how he speaks to his family and employees. And horrible to be spoken to this way as a customer. I'm disappointed with the service provided, and the way I was treated. I just wanted to notify others to be aware of how Aragon's Lawn and Wood Center treat their business.

Zero stars might be more appropriate. We took our lawn mower in to be repaired ... after two weeks, we picked it up and brought it home and after about a minute's worth of use the lawn mower stopped and would not start up again. The owner indicated the problem was likely water in the gas which is suspicious as he put the gas in the mower as part of the initial repair work. We left the machine with the owner's promise to get it fixed but after 10 days and not hearing from Aragon, we arrived at the repair shop to find our lawn mower completely disassembled and at that point asked for our lawn mower back to take it somewhere else for repair. The loose parts were placed in a bag and when we took the mower to another shop they indicated some of our parts were not even in the bag Aragon returned to us. Aragon's owner is rude, dismissive and has more excuses than any reasonable customer would want to listen to. We do not recommend using this shop for any service and hope this review helps in assisting whoever is reading this to make that determination as well.
