APS Soccer Complex

Worst place for soccer. Overpriced for crappy barely legal sized fields that have contributed to many injuries and staph infections. Fields need to be replaced and more safety measures around the fencing.

Another fine example of APS wasting taxpayer money. The fields are supposedly regulation size, but ask any player and they will let you know how small the fields are. Then APS choose artificial turf instead of grass increasing the risk of injury and the wear and tear on the players' bodies. To add insult to injury the fields are 40 minutes (in weeknight traffic) from the NE heights, but that is where many (but for unknown reasons not all) of the NE High Schools play our "home" games...what a joke. Again, many - if not all - of the APS High Schools have soccer fields, but teams do not (cannot?) use them for games, because that would require proper maintenance of the fields (and granted no night games). Another of my many frustrations with APS!
