This is the most disorganized company. The communication between the physical office, the main office, and the billing department is broken. Implore your insurance provider to give you any other options. If you have to pay a few extra dollars for the alternative (unlikely), it will almost have to be worth it, just be default.

absolutely the WORST health equipment supplier on earth. their billing is constantly f*&ked up. if you call the billing department you get off shore representative's that have zero clue on what they are looking at or what you are asking them. I have been going round and round with them for over year on billing issues, The local branch all agree that my CPAP machine is paid for but they keep billing me and are threatening collection for money that no one can tell me what they are billing for. This place should be banned from supplying product. avoid all all costs. find a different DMS

They outsource their billing, so nobody knows what anybody is doing. Their billing department has a horrible track record with filing Insurance in a timely manner and then they try to pass the cost on to the patient when they miss their billing window. It's shameful.I've left six messages and I still cannot get a transcript of all of the payments that they have received from me this year in order to show my insurance company how much I have paid towards my deductible. It would be nice if somebody would see this and do something about it , 575-770-1703.

Why do doctors and hospitals still use this company? This company is so dysfunctional it's sad. They constantly call you with a robot to ask you questions then end the call saying they will contact you but they don't call you back. Then when you turn in your equipment they keep billing you. Good thing I saved my paperwork when I turned it it. Apria does not communicate with their customers and they definitely don't communicate internally. Please stop using this worst in class business. Apria is the Spirit Airlines of the medical and equipment industry. If I could give a zero score or negative star rating I would.

dr wrote a new prescription because the mask I chose makes sores in my nose. they refused to fill the prescription because it hasn't been 6 months yet even though my insurance said ok. they call me every week about my c-pap but not once about portable oxygen and refused to take back concentratetor for nights as I'm not using it with c-pap. I think it's fraud I called my insurance they said return it. do can determine what equipment I need

Apria has served myself and my spouse for 1.5 years, for oxygen, bipap and nebulizer's They have served our needs well. Both Samantha and Ashley are exquisitely dedicated, mindful, attentive, courteous, respectful and expedites what we need with efficiency. Very rude and unhelpful. We ordered a necessary product that was really important and it never came. We called and asked why it never came and they were unprofessional and rude. They didn't even try to help at all. Terrible business!!

I entered into a rental agreement for a CPAP machine. After two months rental, they billed me for the remaining balance to own the machine. I called at least 10 times to get the billing problem corrected to no avail. I continually had to speak to someone offshore until I demanded to speak to someone onshore. I was advised that my insurance entered into a contract with Apria to rent for two months and then pay the balance to own. Numerous discussions with my insurance company disclosed that this was not the case and that I could indeed rent to own. This company is a joke and I wish I had the choice of working with another company.

If I could rate Apria on a negative scale, it would be a minus -10. Apria had previously rented us a CPAP/BiPap machine, yet at the 90 day Medicare required Dr. reporting period, from our, doctor we began receiving automated phone calls stating that our Dr. had not sent in the required Medicare 90-day visit report for therapy results. This despite the Dr. having seen the patient 30 days prior. After speaking with a representative, it turned out out Dr's office is considered an "At Will" office due to the fact that the Dr. office does not allow the use of FAX for information exchange according to Apria. Apria, instead, uses a thrid party service to retrieve the needed documentation from this particular Dr. Office. I also discovered that the information required was on the Dr's parent organization "My Chart" site and I could download and send the information directly to Apria, which I did, and later received acknowledgment from an Apria "Documentation Specialist" of it's receipt. The plan was to order supplies only in the future, but not use rental equipment as I refused to pay Apria for substandard customer service, and the fact that I am STILL receiving automated computer calls refusing to honor supply orders. We are now using an Internet supplier that has worked out to our satisfaction. Amazon is an option as well. I could not recommend Apria to anyone in good conscience. Apria is way too frustrating to do business with IMHO.
