Appliance Liquidators

Bought some appliances here. Two of the four had issues and they always fixed the issues even if it was operator error. Always polite and helpful and the service company they use is also very good. Best prices and warranty in Albuquerque that I've found.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. Do not trust reviews!Red flags:- No manager available for nearly 5 hrs on a weekday.- The corporate # on my invoice is *wrong*. Of their other 4 stores (list provided on my first visit), 3 #s are wrong and 1 isn't answering. Nothing available online.- Attempted intimidation to remove negative review: After things started going wrong, I updated this review. After finally hearing from the manager Adam, he apparently read my review. He called me back angry and tried to intimidate me to remove it. I refused to remove the review and stated I would not lie for him. I promised to update it if/when the fridge was delivered. He's called me a total of *3* times about the review.What happened:We found our dream fridge for a great cost. Melissa knew exactly which fridges to show us to meet our needs. We went to many other stores and we raced back to get our dream fridge before they closed for the day.Then Michelle "forgot" to schedule delivery. Despite repeatedly insisting on a manager, it took nearly 5 hrs (on a weekday) before hearing from one (Adam)! As noted above, I was unable to reach anybody else in the company, because the numbers were wrong.My fridge was delivered when the manager promised. They didn't properly connect the water line. Water went everywhere. I had to pull the fridge back out to fix it.

We purchased a new refrigerator from here and are super impressed. We had gone to 2 different Lowe's locations and they were very busy and slow to help at Lowe's. Lowes told us the refrigerator we wanted could take up to 8 weeks to arrive. A friend recommended appliance liquidators. The salesperson was super knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The selection of appliances was massive. We got the same refrigerator we looked at Lowe's for considerably less money. Plus we were happy to support a local business. They delivered it and set it up within a few days, came during the time frame promised. The delivery guys were super careful and meticulous. We are beyond pleased and would recommend this company to anyone and will return for any other appliance needs.

It would be better if they offered even an in store 6 month warranty. Bought a beautiful Samsung double door refrigerator with ice and water dispenser. The ice make started leaking about two week after we had it delivered. But we assumed our two year old was just pushing the water dispenser. Found out what it was and when we called couldn't even get assistance with parts let alone tracking down parts for a DIY project. They definitely have nice pieces in their store though.

According to the Google overlords, usage of the term "liquidate" is in serious decline; since peaking around 1950, we've been dropping the word from our lexicon like a bad habit. I'm going to guess this has something to do with all of the smarmy salesmen who, over the years, have used the term as a ploy to rip off the general public. "We're liquidating our inventory with INSANE prices" or "Check out Auto Liquidators for no hassle, no credit, no problem vehicles today." You know the type. To say I'm wary of a business that titles itself a Liquidator is a big understatement.Ten years ago I visited Appliance Liquidators because my realtor, who sold me a rather shoddy house, told me to buy my new refrigerator there. I did. It was a Frigidaire that ran for ten years, and I was happy with it, but over the years it cracked and broke from the inside -- shelves and whatever. This weekend I replaced it, and I purchased a clothes dryer, to boot, and I think it says a lot that I chose to come back. Are the prices the lowest in town? Doubtful. But the service is no-nonsense, and the frills -- delivery and installation -- are definitely affordable.This time around I worked with Kenny, homeboy was anti-salesman, just like, "Hey, if you just need a simple dryer, go with this one, it's our best deal." And the guys who removed my old junk and brought the newbies -- from Builders Source on Menaul -- were absolutely terrific. In fact, I'm feeling inspired to review that company, as well. Thanks for not acting like Liquidators, AP.

Time for installation atrocious. Had a dishwasher replaced and they didn't do the install for more than 2 weeks. Had a microwave replaced that took 26 days to install! They sent out the wrong crew initially and then booked us out another 10 days. I would definitely buy from somewhere else.

Daniel and Anthony were awesome. They installed our replacement GE microwave quickly and professionally. We ordered it through Tony and the whole process was very efficient. They worked to get us on the install list quickly.

My dishwasher broke. I had a large stack of dishes and company coming from out of state. The big box stores told me they were one week out for installation. Kenny matched the sales price at the big box stores and I was able to get next-day delivery and installation! That transaction took about 10 minutes. My company arrived to find a clean kitchen. You now have a customer for life.

Purchased new washer and Dryer from this place. We needed commercial washer and dryer and bought top of the line Maytag ! Washer broke down not even a year old had to get a service call . Now not ever 3 years old has broke down again and we have been waiting 3 weeks to get the washer repaired again ! What a piece of garbage, this place will sell you anything too make a sale ! The sale guys are not honest and the only thing that matters to them is there commission on the products they sell . Never going to buy from them again ! "BEWARE PEOPLE " Don't trust them !

We purchased a front loading LG washer at a good price. It was delivered and installed today. Now have completed three loads of wash. Very satisfied!
