Anything Sprinkler & Grounds Maintenance

We hired Anything Sprinklers to rework and add some drainage to our property. They also reworked a riverbed and walkway in the front of the house. This company is topnotch from the owner Jay, Valerie in the office, to each worker on the project. They were professional, courteous, polite and frankly just amazing. They showed up on time, cleaned and locked up every time they were done for the day. They gave us a timeframe of the job and it was completed in that period! The work is beautiful. We feel the cost is about average for today's standards. Could we have gotten it done cheaper? Maybe but the quality of work would also have been less! We are very happy and we will be hiring them again!

Owner of company came out to give estimate (for a charge) for a complete deep-clean of our entire yard . During the walk-around - he responded with "we can do that" to all my requests. The estimate came in at $975. Great, that's a fair price for a clean up/haul away. So, on the day of cleanup, two young men show up, asking me to show them what needed to me done! I walk around again, and come to find out they were only going to work 6 hours- a one time visit! No way could they do a deep clean, $900 job in 6 hours. One of the guys didn't know a weed sprout when I asked to have them pull them out of gravel!Long story short. They worked the hours, but it wasn't a deep clean, more of a surface cleanup that I could of hired a teenager to do. Bushes were trimmed, but debris was left around and in the bushes. Dead leaves were not cleaned up in the gravel landscaping, plant suckers not removed as requested. They blew debris into a small pond (that was clean), and when I asked the guys to clean out their debris, I was told to call the office as that would be an extra charge!This company may be good with sprinklers, but would not recommend for a deep-clean of your property. Side note: review your estimate and confirm exactly/in detail/in writing what the crew will do for the quoted price.

Had a sprinkler system installed in March of 2017. Originally posted a good review but will now update and recant.Found a leak in my system in May of 2018, I should have had Anything sprinkler repair it but having company that weekend I wanted the grass put back in place as soon as possible. When digging up leak I discovered sprinkler pipe as shallow as 3 nches under the ground going no more than 12". I believe the code on this is at least 18". At any rate found a male/female connector at a "t" section far from the valve box that was severely kinked and was and had been leaking for quite some time. A huge pool of water was under the ground and when sprinklers were turned on a significant stream of water would shoot out of the joint. I cut out and repaired joint the correct way, do much better job than previous installers. When original leak spot continued to take on water I called for a tech to come out because, after only a year, these kind of issues are unacceptable. The tech visit wasn't made until June. My fault, I've been busy.I was charged the full cost of the visit, $120.00 and they refused to work with me on price even though warranty had expired only 3 months prior. I feel that a sprinkler system should last a lot longer than a year without problems. I am aware it was beyond warranty but not working with me on such an obvious workmanship failure and another leak that was ongoing is a horrible business practice. As an Electrical Contractor if something one of my guys did caused some kind of failure 3 months after the warranty I would be embarrassed and there would definitely be some help from my end.On another note, my mother had a large system updated and repaired with new valve boxes and a timer installed on a Friday. Saturday morning, water comes on, the first zone and never shuts off. I get a call from her frantic about trying to get the water off and completely pissed off that nobody from Anything Sprinkler will answer calls, emails, or have any kind of emergency service for their installs. I shut off the valve to kill the water for the system. On Monday she gets a call and the person on the phone refused to offer any service after 3pm. Despite the fact that the water ran for 4 hours on Saturday with no help from the company and she had already burned 3 days off from work to be home during the install. To make matters worse there wasn't even so much as a apology and a separate handy man had to come out and make repairs to the repairs Anything Sprinkler did finding a total of 4 leaks in their shoddy workmanship.If you want a system that's reasonably priced and done by prompt attendance but don't care at all about the workmanship, attitude or reasonable service after the sale contact these people. At least when the joints fail you know you'll only have to dig about 6" to get to the problem.

We recently purchased a home in Albuquerque and went on the referral of the previous owner to use Anything Sprinklers. Dave and Dominick spent several hours researching and revamping our irrigation system and I couldn't be happier! They really knew what they were doing and took the time to explain it all to me. They installed a new controller that's easy to program and run and went through the whole system so that I understand it and can program it myself. They also cleaned out our fountain which was a muddy mess and is now burbling away happily. I look forward to working with Anything Sprinklers in the future!

I am shocked to read the previous reviews. We have only had good experience with Anything Sprinkler. We've had many projects completed from a paver walkway/ landscaping to drain installation and valve repair and they will continue to have our business. The service is always professional. They show up on time and work full days to get the job done in a timely manner. Jay (owner) has taken the time to come personally for bids, returns calls, and corrects anything I ask him to change. Valerie (receptionist) is pleasant and helpful. If I could take away half a star for the weed control applications I would, but Tim met with me to discuss my concerns and gave me some helpful advice to use on my own so I'll round it back up to 5 stars. ;)

I spent almost $2000 on Anything sprinkler and onging yard maintenance. Not only did my plants die multiple times (after they replanted them in the first place because the locations of plants were waaaaay off), after incorrectly setting my irrigation, I got a $300 water bill. And, guess what? After last maintenance, my sprinkler no longer works. Yucky. And then.....to top it all off, very rude customer service when called to try and communicate ongoing issues. You will get what they offer....."anything" sprinklers.

One of their drivers tried to fight me for honking because he was going 15 in a 25. He was milking the clock and got mad when I honked. Once I honked he about came to a stop in the road and started yelling "what's up". I think he wanted to fight. He continued to drive even slower all the way down Chavez to Rio Grande. Then at the stop sign he just sat there even though there was not any traffic except for the line ofif cars behind him. He is not the person I would want doing any kind of service for me.IF YOUR DRIVER USES THIS FOR MY INFORMATION AND THREATENS ME AGAIN I WILL SUE YOUR COMPANY.Shortly after this review the company emailed me and said they checked his speed and he was going 25. This is an absolute lie. The driver was going slow on purpose. He was going 15 and once I honked he slowed down to 5 or 10 at the most. The company is sticking up for a driver WHO THREATEND ME FOR HONKING AND THEN PROCEEDED TO INTENTIONALLY INSTIGATE YHE SITUATION BY WANTING TO FIGHT ME.

We contacted this company after waiting for another company who wouldn't return calls or emails for 2 months. Anything Sprinklers were able to come and give a quote in a short period of time. When scheduled and prior to our appt we received communications. Josiah connected our back yard line to the front, showed up on time, did the work with care, and in a timely manner, helped explain about our system and a way to winterize it. Josiah was very friendly, professional and personable. Thank you.

I have used Anything Sprinklers for the last 8 years or so. They have always done a great job and I have found them to be reasonable.Anthony R. and William L. came out this last time and did a good job.Put everything back exactly like it was (gravel). These guys are not professionals. They blow landscape rocks into the grass and sidewalks, tear up the lining between the ground and the landscape rocks, and tear up the irrigation lines then want to charge to fix what they broke. The guy spreading fertilizer over the grass doesn't know how to use the spreader and dumps big piles in spots when turning. After aerating, they left plugs on the sidewalks and stepped on some of them and have yet to clean them up. They do a good job mowing, cleaning up leaves, cleaning up after pruning, and most standard tasks. They do a poor job at anything that requires attention to detail.
