First off let me start by saying that I do not do reviews...I mean, I did once for a Pizza Hut franchise, and it was less like a review and more like a warning sign to abort the idea of eating there STAT! But, I digress. After spending three days in a "luxury" hotel for slightly over 100.00 a night and no WiFi, (they are next...) I found this diamond in the rough. Its tucked among a plethora of other major hotel chains on the East side of Albuquerque. The fact that its right across from a Target and other retail stores and good dining is plus... not that i don't love the free entertainment of some Walmart patrons, but after spending the wee hours of the morning in a car dealership to get a WiFi connection, I was in no mood. The rooms are beautiful (no snapchat model shock here) extremely clean, and the entire facility is smoke free, and a restaurant style breakfast is served in the a.m. The best part however, was the warm and super friendly customer service i received when i walked through the door. I was primed for an aloof and obdurate reception at best, but was gifted with quite the opposite from Sheri Brewer. A fraction of the cost and far more luxury with a friendly face. I will definitely be back!

I saw a lot of negative reviews after booking a room here so I was extremely nervous. However, the hot air ballon fest was going on so every hotel was packed and extremely expensive. Not only was the room the biggest I've had on my vacation across the country, it was one of the cleanest. Nicest "inn" for a fact. The room was quiet and in a separate building behind the lobby. It was convenient though and felt more private. The cook to order breakfast was different and my little one loved it! My key stopped working during my stay so that was pretty irritating first thing in the morning

This motel is not at all what we expected. The first room we were in had a smashed piece of unwrapped chocolate on my son's bed. Floor was dirty and we found TWO dead roaches in our room! One at the foot of the bed, one near the door. Tried unsuccessfully to get hot water for 30 minutes to no avail. Was moved to another room by the front desk lady who was nice, but did not register any surprise that roaches were in the room. When asked if this new room was better, she said "no, it's just more near the lobby" hmm.... Pulled down the covers in the new room and the clearly had not been changed as there was debris inside the covers. Carpet was worn and dirty. Securty gate to get to our room was open, unlocked and broken. It was late so we just had to stay. We did not eat the free breakfast, as there was nothing out to just grab and go, only coffee. No bagels, cereal, yogurts or fruit available. The breakfast was being made by a lady in a room with an electric griddle and a little girl passing out a xerox copy of a little menu, not a sanitary kitchen area. I will be seeking a refund.
