They dragged their feet getting our things to us, but when I complained enough, they did get the job done.

I would avoid this concern. The shipment was late in arriving by two weeks and was delivered by two different truckers, about a week apart. Although the movers who loaded and unloaded our possessions in our presence were careful and thorough, several furniture items of ours were delivered broken or damaged. About 5-10 boxes were crushed and/or split, indicating rough treatment. Some furniture items had different wrapping on them when delivered than when they were picked up. The initial wrapping was more than adequate so that the damage was probably a result of carelessness or negligence by workers when not supervised. I filed a claim for a few meals we bought after the due date on the shipment and was reimbursed for only half of the expense, about $30 out of 60 ( I guess that was better than nothing). I did not expect any compensation for the broken items since the damage insurance deductible was not met, but nothing should have been broken. I have had several interstate moves previously and this was the worst I experienced in 35 years.

It has been 8 long months since these nincompoops packed & moved our home across country. WE ARE STILL IN HELL, FINDING BROKEN AND MISSING ITEMS!Again, PERFECTLY MARKED FRAGILE ITEMS we packed ourselves were opened for no logical reason and torn apart - with random items of TRASH thrown inside before badly taping over the boxes. WHY ARE THEY STILL IN BUSINESS? We have a claim in for damages, and it included many items ruined by the lead packer who bled all over furniture and expensive clothing. Gross & disturbing. The "wardrobe boxes" we paid them a fortune for? Found them while sorting yesterday - NOT real wardrobe boxes at all. 2 regular boxes I HAD PURCHASED from Lowes, that were taped together & laid flat with expensive full length coats jammed in along with BROKEN HANGERS????? So now we KNOW we paid a fortune for boxes that were not even REAL! Paid $30/ea for boxes I had already owned?THIS IS CALLED FRAUD PEOPLE.Wish us luck with our claim for damages. How do you prove items were taken out of your boxes, not packed at all??? Do we need to hire a DNA forensic team to prove the point? Ha!NEVER HIRE THESE PEOPLE IN NM!We have had to throw away so many items we paid a lot of $$ to have hauled 1000 miles just to be forced to trash them because they were so badly ruined.Gotta love the bird poop on the outside of our boxes and, alas, the MOUSE DROPPINGS IN THE CLOTHING THEY JAMMED INTO PLASTIC BAGS when they ran out of boxes.I do not know how the owner sleeps at night. He knows all to well what is going on and has no problem telling lies that are so obvious. Clearly this is going to force further legal action as the $$ claim may not begin to offset these losses.
