American Restoration Water & Fire

American Restoration was supposed to fix my roof and ceiling. They tore down my ceiling before Thanksgiving and no further work has been done. It's now February

We discovered a significant mold problem during our kitchen remodel and decided to go with American Restoration based on Google reviews and availability. A tech arrived at our house within two hours of our call on a Saturday. Abner was friendly and knowledgable and was able to put up a temporary containment to allow us to stay in our home until work could begin the following Monday. Elena was assigned as our project manager and she was absolutely amazing throughout every step of the process. She truly went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and to answer all of our questions. She worked directly with our insurance company and was always available if we needed her. Abner's work was top notch - clean and efficient, and he explained each step of the process and what we should expect. The entire process was completed in just a few days, and Elena made sure to help us get a reconstruction team set up before she closed out our file. I would recommend American Restoration to my own friends and family without hesitation.

Very friendly staff. My roof was blown off and within 24 hours American responded. Covered roof and made me feel at ease. I would highly recommend them. Thank you so much.

Their representative, Vernon Parker, came out to give my Insurance Company an estimate, it was approved. He came back and was given a deposit of $4129.00. His men came and did only part of the work, i.e., they filled in the walls in the closets, I The carpeting was never replaced even tho i selected what Ai wanted. I am in a wheelchair with a broken hip and damaged leg and need to get to my Mas6ter Bathroom which is difficult6 since the carpet has yet to be replaced in my Master Bedroom. Vernon does not receive my emails....they come back to me unanswered but I need the work completed,,,,,or a complete refund of deposit in the amount of $4.129.00. I'm sorry it has come to this but I believe he is doing this, blocking my messages and not completing the work, because i am a Senior Citizen and disabled female.There are two other restoration companies who want to do this work but I already signed up with your company, who I thought was above board, but apparently I was mistaken. Please, either get the job completed rightly, or refund my deposit so I can contact one of the other companies to get the work completed. If I could've rated zero stars I would have. Our pipes burst last summer and American Restoration was recommended by our home insurance to do the water damage mitigation and floor replacement. This was the worst contractor experience, ever. We were out of our house for a month, a majority of it due to the lack of coordinating by this company. Every supervisor passed the buck on who was responsible. They never responded to calls. They didn't have any of the floors in stock that they had in their demos. The floor had to be laid three times because they used the wrong glue and then ran out of the correct manufacturers recommended glue. Do not recommend at all.

I'm not impressed with Amanda she admitted a mistake in scheduling my quote for water damage then blamed me then hung up on me after I thanked her for getting the appointment rescheduled that same day. Yes I was irritated but I still expect professional courtesy. Not sure I'll go with this company but the receptionist definitely turned me off. We'll see if they complete the work if I need to update review.

Negative 5 stars at best. We had a broken water softener that flooded our rental. I call American Restoration because their ad looked professional. My first mistake. They were everything but professional. My insurance adjuster even asked if I wanted to change companies but, my second mistake, wanted to give them a chance. The communication was none existent. The work was slow and very poorly done. I had to call them out to fix a leak they cause by putting 2 staples into a water line. There were (is) huge bubbles in the vinyl flooring that I had them out twice to correct. It was never corrected. The sheetrock patch looked so bad that we had to cut out the whole wall to prove to the buyer that there wasn't an active leak. They left a bunch of garbage in the crawl space. There's more but you get the idea. I know they were or are being sued by another angry customer. Do not hire American Restoration. You'll regret it.

American Restoration was absolutely wonderful. The staff are very friendly and explain everything that's being done, they worked directly with my insurance so I didn't have to worry about anything. The clean up on my house, after a pipe broke and flooded my kitchen, laundry room, dining room and part of my living room was amazing. They came out very quick even though it wasn't during normal business hours. I would highly recommend them for any clean up job needed!!
