American Legion Post 99

As a Legionnaire I try to get out and see as many as possible wherever I am. Happy people, friendly bartender, good food and cold drinks. This is a very welcoming place.

I really enjoy going to this post when I'm Albuquerque. People are friendly and welcoming and Wednesday night they have great food (I think Fridays too). They have slot machines in the back for Legion members which is kinda cool. The only drawback: the cigarette smoke. If you can get past the smoke , this is a great post to visit. Oh, drinks are really really reasonable with prices you would only find at a Legion Post.

Stopped there for a drink and rest. People super friendly! Gave me couple Native American presents . Came to introduce them selves . Actually, I noticed that people in ABQ very friendly everywhere !!

Came here for a wedding. Very small and in bad need of a decor update. The bartender is very heavyhanded with the booze, which I guess is a good thing considering the price for a 8oz cocktail loaded with ice was $4.50. If you're a member, the price is cheaper. All in all, the staff was pleasant and we had a good time.

Average sized older facility with bar and a couple pool tables semi-tightly tucked towards the back. Local American Legion crowd. Was karaoke night the evening we went fProbably a feww dozen clientele in there but didn't go for the music (and you all don't want me singin').Good bar snacks from the kitchen, beer was cold, bartender was attentive, and people were sociable.Little ways away from the house so unsure if I'll return with much regularity apart from scheduled stuff, but otherwise good to go.
