We were passing Albuquerque and got a tire accident that couldn't be fixed until the following morning so we had to stay in town for the night. We called several hotels/motels in the area and NONE were taking reservations due to Indian Pow Wow Festival. It was first come, first serve only in the area. We took a chance and drove here knowing that they had only two rooms available. We arrived a few minutes later and they had ONE room left. Yay us, we got lucky! The room is a little different setup than your regular hotel/motel rooms. Our room had a FULL size fridge. Yes, FULL!!! There's a vanity area in the corner of the room, and PLENTY of shelf space in the clothing storage. There's an a/c and a ceiling fan. Room is clean, the phone needs some cleaning but who uses that anyway with mobile phones nowadays ;) The customer service clerk at the front desk is very pleasant. Their breakfast are donuts, oj, coffee and tea. It ain't no Holiday Inn so don't expect hot/continental breakfast with awesome amenities for this rate! If you're looking for a place to stay one night then this is it. Area is a little sketchy so I won't walk around here at night. There's a burrito place next door if you want a better breakfast :)

Cheap-quality room in industrial area. No restaurants or other services nearby. Hard bed, sloppy cleaning, few electrical outlets, lots of road noise. "Breakfast" is stale donuts and usually empty orange-juice dispenser. Bathroom has no towel bars or even hooks, and little space for toiletries. Window is cracked and hard to open or close. TV is old, with pocked glass.On the plus side, the Wi-Fi is good and staff are friendly.

You get what you pay for, and this place is a value in my opinion. We were driving through and at 2 am I couldn't make it farther, so we stayed here. The area is very shifty and you can tell there are drug deals and escorts in the area. The room was cleanish, but it is very run down. There was black mold in the shower and the place had an odor. But it was also very cheap. Only $40 plus tax. The staff was very friendly and they do have cameras in the parking lot. So we felt safe. There is a no smoking deposit, so in the morning we asked for them to check the room. The lady was very nice and quick. She also gave us a sack breakfast full of nice foods. It was a great touch, especially for how cheap the place is. I definitely don't think any ambassadors have stayed there, but I thought it was a value. The staff were the highlight of the trip.

I stayed here because they said they had a continental breakfast in the morning. It was extremely disappointing. Hard old donuts, fake juice, and cold coffee. That's it! The area was very sketchy and I didn't feel safe. The shower had mold (why places like this don't just spray some Tilex Mold & Mildew spray is beyond me!). On a positive note, the rest of the room was fairly clean. The bed and pillows were nice and firm. There were lots of TV channel choices.

This was my home from July to October 2014. It was perfect for working at UNMH. I sleep soundly so the people walking above my head did not bother me. I only saw roaches (3) times in my room. The staff was very nice. My things were safe inside my room 107. My room had a Refrig and microwave. I kept my valuables in my car. In the summer my room always smelled like smoke. It was wonderful that smoking was not allowed on the first floor. Some guests really enjoyed the donuts and Tang in the morning. They were offered in pretty containers. My stay ended during the Balloon Fiesta. The rooms become MUCH MORE VALUABLE at this time:}

Do not book here unless you want to stay with drug addicts outside. Some windows had foil on them So they clearly do monthly. Not a good area. Booked through Expedia. Hotel refused to refund because of 24 hour notice. I explained we are not comfortable with the area due to what appears to be a drug area. She hung up on me. Expedia would not do anything but give a $25 coupon. So clearly they aren't careful who they put on their site.

For the price, you get what you pay for. The staff is friendly and the price is cheap. The room was small. The TV was, well it turned on. WiFi was ok. Beds were old and you sunk in the middle of them. No fitted sheets just loose.Very little outlets. Bathrooms had no hooks or space for items. Nothing to eat around it in walking distance, but if you drive, you are 5 min from restaurants. Breakfast was horrible, but the desk will give you a lunch sack of food that is better then what they serve on the table.

On our trip San Francisco - Santa Cruz - Santa Barbara - Los Angeles - San Diego - Las Vegas - Flagstaff - Albuquerque - El Paso this was one of the friendliest Motels on the way. The staff is extremely friendly and as they know that they can't provide you with a big breakfast, because they have no kitchen they give you a breakfast-bag in the morning with an apple, blueberry-muffins, rice-waffles and an orange juice. With there friendly way they provide a service which for us was higher than the big MGM in Las Vegas. The rooms are quiet, clean (even for a Swiss standart) and comfortable. We slept really well. The only thing we missed was enough power outlets to charge all the devices which come with travelling nowadays. We had to unplug the microwave. But overall a neat little motel.
