I am truly not want to leave reviews. In fact this is probably the second review I've ever left in my life, to all those who are attempting to buy gates from this organization, think twice what was supposed to take 6 to 8 weeks took almost 12 weeks, the first time I purchased gates they arrived and we're severely damaged and had to be returned. The second time I gave them the benefit of the doubt and it is almost impossible to reach someone or get an answer as to production and completion. There are many companies out there. My advice is to think twice and look around. I do not suggest this company under any circumstances is is acceptable twice is not there will be no third time.

Do not even recommend placing an online order. These folks don't have a clue what is going on with their own business. I don't have a care in the world that you are in a "transitional phase", if you cant fulfill orders in a timely fashion, DON'T TAKE THEM. Sounds like they would have been perfectly content running my card and keeping the money without sending what was ordered.

So excited to at last buy these pricey but hopefully value proposition gates and panels. Not sure how the rest of the experience is going to go but the shipping was a big let down. Pushed from Fri to Monday sat all day no call nothing pushed to Wednesday delivered after the prescribed by the shipper window expired and surprise even though they wanted one thousand and forty for the delivery they had no way to unload their truck (no they didn't mention it before hand) we scrambled for man power and a truck and unloaded :( no Bueno

My order was the third gate I have purchased from Amazing Gates. My gatewas not in stock and had to go through production process. Gates are nowbuilt in their home facility. The build quality of the gate I received in far better than previous gates I purchased. It appears to be substantially better quality.Build time was longer than expected and shipping was a fiasco, but oncereceived the crating and packaging was excellent. Gate and associated orderedparts were well packaged for shipping protection.I would order from Amazing Gates again.

I have owned AG electric double-gates for a decade. They look great, but the quality is horrible. This is the most unreliable device in my home: it is broken more than half of the time. Over the years I had to replace every component and accessory (at a huge cost of parts and labor) at least once; the control board has been replaced six times. Worse, electricians for low-voltage work are difficult to find in my area; by now I know how to replace the circuit board myself. AG's technical expert (by phone or e-mail) tries hard to troubleshoot, but the problems are multiple and keep happening faster than we can solve them.

We ordered panels to match a walk gate we had ordered from Amazing Gates several years ago. It was never mentioned that the design was changed...i.e. panel height was taller than previous. We ordered the panels and post recommended. Ignoring that the panels didn't match the height of the old gate...The panels were TALLER than the posts we receive with them. There is no way to attach the top rail of the panel to the post since it is well above the top of the post. When we called the sales manager, she stated it was their error and would help us get panels that would work. After several phone calls back and forth with the manager always saying she had to check one more thing, they are now ghosting us. We spent almost $2K and still don't have panel we can use.

I'll start by saying this is a great product at an even better price. Even my installer, who has been in the gate business for over 20 years, said he would not have been able to get me a better price on a gate of similar quality. That being said, why only a 3 star rating? Because it took four months for me to get the solar powered automatic gate opener to work consistently. In reviewing the correspondence with the company's tech support over the last few months, I am at a loss for words in trying to describe the level of incompetence that was displayed. After investing probably over 30 hours of my personal time researching and learning about solar powered systems, replacing the charge controller multiple times, and replacing and upgrading the solar panel, only now is it apparent to me how pitiful the level of tech support was that I received. I have documentation of almost 50 emails back and forth with tech support, not to mention several phone calls, showing proof that the company's tech support is undoubtedly one of two things: either completely incompetent and unqualified for the job, or the laziest most unwillingly helpful person that I have ever had to deal with. I have delt with disgruntled DMV employees that were more helpful than this. I would love to provide these 46 emails to the CEO of Amazing Gates so the executives at the company can see how utterly pathetic the tech support actually is. From providing flat out incorrect and false information, to not even reading my emails and responding to just the first sentence and ignoring the rest of my questions and issues. I would get short one sentence responses to in depth emails with questions, where it was clear that my email hadn't been read in their entirety. I was told to change the battery type on the controller to Gel batteries. The batteries sent to me were lead acid (I sent pictures) but was still told they had sent me Gel batteries. Every time I sent emails stating that the system was not charging and was slowly losing charge (even when I left the gate open and off on sunny days), I was told by tech support "it looks like the system is running well". From the beginning I was clear that I do not get a full 8 hours of direct sunlight due to foliage cover. I get a good 4 hours of direct sunlight. I was prepared to take the necessary steps to compensate for this any way that I could. Never once was I given systematic troubleshooting steps to find out what the issue was. I was never asked to send pictures of my setup to make sure the panel was setup in the best possible position and angle. I was basically told that having the batteries die on me, and having to remove them and charge them manually was normal, even if I was leaving the gate open on days when it was cloudy. When I sent a link to a 100 Watt solar panel that I considered buying to make up for having less than 8 hours of direct sunlight, I was told by tech support that the panel would help substantially. Once the panel was installed, nothing changed, and tech support attributed the issues to the cold weather and having less sun in the winter months, and this was all normal. After even more hours of research, it turns out that the panel I bought, that was approved by tech support, was completely useless given the system I had. The lazy tech support employee didn't even bother to actually look at the solar panel I considered buying before replying that the panel would help my situation. I finally purchased a boost charge controller that converted the voltage from my new panel to the correct voltage for the battery system. Since doing that, the battery clearly charges back up on sunny days. For the first time, the system is finally working. I am appalled and the level of laziness demonstrated by tech support. The company as a whole should be ashamed. I will gladly send you the 46 emails back and forth with tech support. I am overall happy with product now that it's working, but I shouldn't have had to waste so much if my time getting this figured out while being sent in circles by your tech support.

Our gate was a custom color so we expected delivery time to be extended. Ordered 8/7/18, quoted 10/31/18. When it did not arrive by 11/10 I called and found that they projected shipment by 11/26. Amazing gates called and said it was delayed by the holiday and held in customs (or both - the gates, are manufactured in Mexico). The package finally shipped 12/19/18 and arrived 12/23/18. Everything arrived complete, well packed in an excellent crate. One hardware package, of several, broke open and a couple washers were lost but the other than that, everything was there, color was correct.Installation instructions were good. We rented skid-steer with trencher and a 24" post-hole auger for $172. We trenched and drilled three holes, filled them with the posts, conduits and concrete for $221. Added the 60w solar panels, remote keypad, exit probe and SOS unit. I had a little trouble hooking up the wires because I was unsure but the Cust Service team helped me finish it off.We are now at eleven months of operation and all is working well. Last week the batteries got low due to heavy clown cover and snow/frost on the solar panels. Very pleased with the cost of package $5,400 and costs of install of $400.

Do yourself a favor & don't use this company. They expect the customer to help unload the gate once it is delivered. They defended this process to the end & claim no one minds helping to unload a 300+ pound gate from ABS delivery truck. The gate came damaged. Then, the replacement gate came scratched. No step in this process was easy. It took forever to get the gate & I finally asked if they had stolen my money. Miraculously, the gate was ready for delivery at that moment.

The amount of commitments they blew off regarding my multiple requests for assistance with THEIR gate hardware over a 3 week period is staggering - simply incredible. You'll be better off putting chicken wire around your property. I hope there are other gate people in town willing to assist me with THEIR gate hardware installed at my new and very expensive home. If you bump into someone named Lindsey at this joint, head for the hills, you'll thank me. That I have to waste time posting on this site in the interest of warning any unsuspecting folks in town just adds to the dissatisfaction.
