The best, absolutely the best Mediterranean food I have had anywhere. I have had Greek, Afghan, Lebanese, Persian, and Turkish. I have had them all, multiple times in multiple states and cities across the US and Canada. Alqud's was the best of them all. Every item was the best. The tabouleh was both very generous and absolutely the best I have ever had anywhere. The baba ganoush was as good as any I have ever had. The tzatziki was another best. The server (also the store clerk) was respectful, courteous and efficient. We shopped briefly after lunch and the store was very clean and well stocked and the prices were competitive. The cafe, which sits to one side of the market was well lit, spotless and cheery. There were nice photos of beautiful mosques on the wall. The booths and tables were in good shape and spotless as well. All in all, a very positive experience. How positive? This is my first ever five stars on a first visit.

Since moving to ABQ from Pittsburgh, Quds is my go-to place for Baba Ghanoush. I usually add a bit more tahini likely owing to regional variation in tastes Baba Ghanoush-wise but that is about it. The owners are friendly. Highly recommended!

I'd heard many good things about Alquds but had never stopped by before. I had a bit of time before needing to meet my partner somewhere, so when I found myself nearby, I stopped in and got some food. I got dolmas, drinks, a gyro plate, and a gyro to go. I wasn't sure how best to order as it wasn't clear on my first visit that you could sit down and someone would take your order. I ordered at the counter and ended up with all my food being packaged to go when I had only wanted a portion to go and to eat the rest there. I liked the opportunity to grocery shop and buy items you might not find elsewhere. I'll be back. The food was filling and very good.

I like the food at Alquds and have been there or ordered in a few times over the last couple of years. I usually get the chicken Shawarma sandwich which is nicely seasoned and very tasty. I also ordered the dolmas which came with a nice tahini sauce. Too much cucumber for me but then again I don't like cucumbers. I also ordered three pieces of pistachio baklava but only got one. The time before I also ordered more than one piece of baklava and only got one. I'm not sure why it is that I keep getting shorted on my desserts but at over three dollars apiece, it ends up being quite expensive if you don't get what you ordered. I was only able to request a refund for one piece on GrubHub even though they shorted me two.The order was prepared quickly and delivered on time. I cannot comment on the ambience as I did not eat in restaurant, but I have been to the restaurant and it has a nice sized Middle Eastern grocery store with lots of delicious items you can cook at home. It also has a large seating area for eating in.Even though I like this place, I doubt I will be ordering from them again in the near future. I understand when one makes a mistake once by not including everything in the order, but this has become a problem for me more than once. Why would I continue to order from a place that doesn't include everything I ordered? With that said, I can recommend this place as they do have good food and lots of great options. I would be sure to check your order before you leave, however, and I would not recommend ordering through a service (GrubHub or Uber eats) as you are not likely to get everything you ordered.

We stopped by for lunch and the food was amazing. It was of the most flavorful tabouleh I've ever had and the falafel was super fresh. I got the vegetarian extravaganza and my favorite part was the pita; I didn't know pita could taste that great and fresh. The waiters were very helpful and it was a great place to eat an affordable lunch.

If you're looking for a great Middle Eastern restaurant with a quirky atmosphere, this is the place for you! They also have a small grocery store with really interesting merchandise. Did I mention it's in a former bank? The vault is at the back of the grocery area. But what about the food? The pita is pillowy soft, yeasty and fresh. My go to is a small hummus & baba ganoush with an extra pita. I always have enough leftovers for the next day too. Hubs gets the gyros or baba ganoush, which are also tasty.

The service at this restaurant isn't always great but boy does the quality of the food more than make up for it. Alquds is the best Mediterranean on the northeast side of the city. I love that they give you a good portion salad with each entree. I always opt for the greek salad which comes with a tangy dressing. The feta on the salad is soft and adds a nice saltiness to it. Their chicken tawook is my favorite Mediterranean chicken in the city, as are their falafel. I wish each entree came with hummus and rice because both of them are so good! Their garlic sauce is also excellent but costs extra. Baklava is an absolute must when coming here. The pistachio baklava is one of the best desserts in the city. Alquds has a dining area that is not always visible to the cashier (who is also the restaurant's server), so sometimes you have to wait until someone is at the register and tell them you're dining in or else they won't see you if they are in the back. I think that placing QR codes and allowing for ordering at your seating could help alleviate some of the back and forth with the service. The restaurant itself is clean and spacious. I can't hold the occasional hiccups in service against Alquds, especially when their food is so fantastic. They are also careful to source halal meat which is appreciated.

Came here all the time as a kid before I moved states, and the food is still as perfect as I remember.Chicken pieces are smaller, but somehow still cooked perfectly - still juicy, and so much flavor. That's the main event tbh. Rice, tahini, and salad are just the cherries on top.

You wouldn't know a Palestinian ran the place. Was so upset that I had to leave. The food wasn't authentic either. Free Palestine.
