Alquds Mediterranean Grill 2

The food was absolutely amazing at Alquds when on vacation thanksgiving week. The waiter was amazing and super friendly and knowledgeable and gave us a free baklava to try and was super delicious. I will definitely come back to this location when we come again to visit my mother in law.

Yes...new owners....the folks from the Montgomery location bought this place and the food is a bit more traditional/Lebanese...if I'm not mistaken. Delicious and very fulfilling. Great service too. A dinner for two fed the four of us...just saying. Side note to owners....Make sure you have your landlord update your sign.... You're not marketing your name/brand appropriately... You guys have a great restaurant and the real name of your restaurant should be in the marquee! Enjoy!

My husband and I ate here yesterday for lunch. It was our first time here. I've never had this style of food before, so I have nothing to compare it to, but it was delicious! We ordered dolmas, chicken shawarma platter and lamb kebab platter. The two platter dishes came with pita bread and a side salad. We both chose tabbouleh. The chicken was super tender and flavorful and the hummus was so good! The lamb was very flavorful, but few of the pieces were tough. My husband works in the Middle East and he thought the food was very good as well. The portion sizes were generous and our total came to around $47. We both had leftovers, so we'll be having it again for lunch today. We'll definitely be going back to try their other dishes.

Alquds is the best Middle Eastern food I've found in Albuquerque so far. Their chicken kabobs and chicken shawarma are flavorful and tender. The hummus and rice are also delicious. I've only ordered take out through Uber eats, but the food has always arrived fresh and hot.

Middle Eastern food is quickly becoming my favorite! We decided to order delivery for this one and Door Dash did a great job with the delivery as it was still hot and fresh when dropped off at the doorstep. I ordered the falafel combo platter, which came with falafel, pita bread, hummus, and a tabouli salad. I will say, that falafel was outstanding! So crispy and full of the flavor. The pita was great with hummus, very soft and warm. When you mix it all together and top it with garlic sauce, an outstanding dish! My girlfriend ordered the chicken tawook and the flavor was not on par with most middle eastern seasoning, and it didn't come with much chicken. I wouldn't order this dish again, but would come back for falafel!!

Authentic middle eastern food: hummus, Naan, tabouli... all incredibly fresh and delicious.

Duplicating my review from Jerusalem since this was the place I went to and I must have picked the wrong one when looking to write.AMAZING value for the price. Good tasting Lamb and high quality olives and Feta cheese on the Greek salad. The ambiance is "strip mall diner" and the server's misinterpretation of me asking for a lamb souvlaki skewer and bringing be a lamb gyro was annoying, but the product was lovely. Good Tzatziki sauce, but a little more viscous than it should be (it was drier than it should've been IMO). Albuquerque isn't exactly a "mecca" for Jewish or Persian food, but Alquds is pretty damn good and probably in the top 3 of Albuquerque for food from that region. Olympia has better quality for the gyro and sauce; Alquds has better Feta; their ambiance is about the same. Pars has better ambiance, service, and sauces; Alquds has better Gyro meat, Feta, and WAY better prices.Mykonos is still my go-to for quality and ambiance, but it is a little pricy. (It has better sauces, service, and gyros. They're about equal on Feta).

My wife and I had a delicious meal at Alquds. I ordered the vegetarian platter and she ordered the chicken shawarma platter. The food was authentic and delicious. The service was fast and friendly. Highly recommended.

The food was amazing!!! The staff was very friendly and gave us free desert on the house for our patience. The hummus and pita bread was the best part. We will definitely be coming back!!!

We had dined previously at the other location on Montgomery in Albuquerque; however this location in Rio Rancho is much closer to our residence in Mariposa, Rio Rancho. The menu offerings appeared to be the same as the other location and the appetizer and entrees my wife and I ordered were just as tasty. Also, the service was excellent and the owner was very friendly and we are very happy we discovered this location. The ambiance was also interesting with several photos of Jerusalum (Al Quds) and several items from that region around the restaurant. We will definitely revisit and recommend to our friends.
