Albuquerque Water Gardens & Nursery

Absolutely beautiful place! Just go there to enjoy the pools and water plants. I bought a gorgeous oleander that Mary, the owner, recommended. She is very knowledgeable and helpful. The plant did well despite our recent terrible over 100 deg hot spell, so that impressed me. I plan to go back in the spring to purchase a lotus bowl, which is a small bowl filled with rooted lotuses with fish and snails that I can put in full sun on my back patio.

I had gone in to check and see if they had lotus and was told the lotus weren't ready yet. So I returned after a few weeks and asked the price. I was told $79. for the dwarf and $99 for the regular size. I wasn't able to take it that day so I had to return. When I did I bought the miniature but when I looked at the written receipt the price for the dwarf lotus was listed as $129. I asked John about it and he said "Oh, we have to charge for the pot" and I said "$50 seems steep for a plastic pot" at which point he started helping other customers, ignoring me. I will not be returning to this establishment because of this exorbitant increase for a plastic pot and then being ignored. its unfortunate because i have been a good customer up to this point.

I never knew this place existed until I googled it. If you have a pond this is the place to go, they have different ponds set ups around the gardens. They sell fish as well. I enjoyed walking around and viewing different water plants. So far with the comments on this store have been all positive, but the friendliness is lacking. I'm assume the young lady helping me was possibly the owners daughter?!? Not sure.. anyways she helped with the questions with such a straight face, like I'm bothering her. I like that

O man this place smells like Christmas! I found the loveliest of lovely trees here. The also have bodacious poinsettias and homemade wreaths. I grabbed a poinsettia for Mom!

What a great place! Plants are really healthy grown in their natural habitat. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly! It's a gem of a place nestled in the north valley. It will be my go-to nursery in 2020!

Great selection of perennials, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Beautiful grounds with places to sit in the shade. Easy checkout without having to hunt someone down to pay. Will be a regular customer here. Great positive vibe from everyone that works here.

We have been buying plants for our pond and yard here for years, since their old location. This new space is gorgeous and the selection is terrific. Staff always friendly and helpful.

Stopped by Albuquerque Water Gardens today to spend some money on water plants. The old guy with the beard refused to help me select some plants because he was too busy watering. Oh well. There are other places. Won't be back here.

Have been going to Albuquerque water gardens for years. Always a friendly knowledgeable staff ready to help with all your needs. I would much rather support a local family run business then the big box stores.
