Albuquerque Pawn Shop

We were shopping for vintage turquoise silver jewelry. We happened in to this small and well stocked hidden gym. We were greeted immediately and made to feel welcome upon arrival at the store, we met the owners and really enjoyed conversation with them, great people!

The place is a little small and unorganized, but those aren't deal breakers to me. What was a deal breaker was the owner watching something on TV and started calling the people they were watching "f**king cunt" and "stupid whore."I don't know who they were talking about (it was a news station, but I didn't pay close attention because I was shocked), but I don't think that's an appropriate way to act in your own store.

New Mexico Native having to get my jewelry fix online...I was specifically looking for a Bumblebee Jasper and turquoise ring with a particular shape, sterling silver, and with a hallmark (looking for the real thing). I found an image of the perfect ring while doing a Google search. I reached out to Albuquerque Pawn Shop when I saw the ring was located here. I tried to email message through the website but followed up with a text message to the number provided on the site. Please don't give up or fault the owners/location for not responding to email (I believe emails may get filtered in transit)! They DO want to work with you! Nearly immediately, I got a text back and we were able to make a deal within the same day. I inquired about the ring on Friday afternoon and had my perfect ring Monday morning. I have been using Albuquerque Pawn for years to take care of all my FFL gun transfers. They always call me as soon as the firearm comes in and are very polite and professional. They are very reasonably priced and even give a discount for multiple same day transfers. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for this service.

We were visiting from Nevada and decided to pop in to see what kind of stuff they had. It's a small building but it's packed with quality treasures! I was so excited to see what a great selection of turquoise jewelry and belts they have. A great husband/wife team. Very nice & very fair... and they even told about some great places to stop on the last leg of our trip. I bought a few things this time and I'll definitely come back next time we're in Albuquerque.

While the owners were not rude, they were not very helpful or particularly welcoming. Shop is over crowded, messy and hard to shop in. Stopped by twice during posted open hours and they were closed.

I highly recommend Albuquerque Pawn Shop and will use them for all future firearm purchase transfers. Jay went out of his way to help me, he was responsive, courteous, professional, and timely during the process of my firearm purchase. I have already begun recommending Albuquerque Pawn to my friends for their online purchases of firearms. Albuquerque Pawn charged me a nominal fee of $15.00 as an FFL (Federal Law mandates that guns may only be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensed (FFL) dealer) to complete the background and transfer.

I went in looking for a unique piece of jewelry & the owner was very nice & helped date the Native American pieces I was interested in. I would recommend buying from them!!
